Nash Hartley has always been my everything: Protector. Partner in crime. Best friend. The person who was there for me in my darkest hour. But my heart wanted so much more.

So, when I knew for certain Nash didn’t feel the same about me, I tried to move on. What a mistake that turned out to be.

Now, I’m back in our small town, desperate to escape my living nightmare, and the only person I want to see is him. As secrets are revealed, and Nash finds out what happened to me, he’ll do anything to keep me safe.

But there are those who will do anything to stop him, and this time neither of us may make out alive….

Amazing story!

THIS AUDIOBOOK!!! PERFECTION IN EVERY PAGE!!

I already know that a new book by Catherine Cowels means that I'm going to be adding this story into my top favorite reads. I might sound repetitive BUT there isn't a story by her I don't adore.

Echoes of You is book two in The Lost & Found series and while it can be read as a standalone I recommend reading the series in order so you don't miss nothing about the Hartley siblings.

This is Nash and best friend Maddie's story. From the moment they met as children they became the best of friends and while Maddie's life with her parents was absolute horror she had Nash and his family who always welcomed her. Growing up Maddie's feelings for Nash become so much more unfortunately for her, she didn't see him returning those feelings and she left town to try to make a new life with a man she thought loved her and cared for her, this was the worst decision she had ever made.

Now Maddie is back in her old town trying to hide and run from a life full of fear and regrets. Nash of course is there for her more protective and willing to do anything to help her but their friendship is put to the test and Maddie's feelings for Nash come back to the surface. Nash's secret about how he truly feels for Maddie are also tested.

Danger is looming around them and this time Nash will do anything to protect and show Maddie how he truly feels about her. This is one romance story you don't want to miss reading because while Maddie and Nash's story is heartbreaking at times is oh so beautiful at the end.

I listened and read an arc of this book, you can't go wrong with either, they are perfect!!

Five stars!

Gah I love Catherine Cowles books so much! The suspense in her books give me life. Now if only they was only a bit more spicy, that’s the only downside for me personally. Great story an great narration!

Perfectly suspenseful romance!

This is the second in the Lost and Found series. Nash and Maddie had been best friends since they were 5 years old. The connection they have is like no other. Maddie has an awful family past and always turned to Nash for comfort. Years later and the connection is still there. Nash is the protector who will do anything for Maddie. Jason Clarke was perfect for Nash!! These narrators made the book come to life. Fantastic suspenseful romance that I could not stop listening to. I would highly recommend this suspenseful audiobook!!

Best Friends Forever!

I love Jason Clarke’s voice, but am just not a fan of Erin Mallon’s nasal, breathy voice. The story would have been a far more enjoyable listen with Andi, Maxine, or Kit portraying Maddie.

I did love Nash & Maddie’s story, and I appreciate some actions are needed to support the overall storyline - but my word, Maddie was just stupid too many times. And - obsessive nut jobs are downright scary.

The Hartley family has my heart! Their love & devotion to each other, their constant banter, is all priceless.

I’d love to listen again to this book with a different female narrator.

Beautiful story

At every turn, this series stuns me. Swoony, romantic suspense and friends to lovers magic at it's finest. I loved every word! Echoes of You wrecked my heart, but then also healed it. This breath-taking story about overcoming trauma and self-doubt and healing through love stole my whole heart. I loved these endearing characters, I loved how they found safety and self-assurance in their connection, and I loved how easily these two authentically fell into each other. This is friends to lovers perfection- the chemistry, the heart, the FEELS! The longing and angst between them had me FEELING this slow burn down into my toes. And gah, the twists kept coming! I didn't quite anticipate how this wound down. And I'm such a sucker for a heroine in danger with a big, dreamy, sweet only for her protector. Nash was EPICALLY dreamy. I swooned, I sighed, I smiled, my heart soared. Catherine's books are just so damn romantic- so achingly sweet. I'm always charmed- and I can not wait for what's next in this series- the set up has me knowing it will be delicious. I'm adoring this new series and new family, this gaggle of amazing characters and their sweet community. This story is so tender and heartfelt- truly the perfect dreamy escape.

As always the audio is beautifully produced and impeccably acted. All the feelings infused- such range! Loved it!!

Friends to Lovers Perfection

Echoes of You is friends to lovers perfection. Catherine Cowles once again shines with this beautiful small town romance. Dreamy heroes, strong resilient heroines, and throw in some great suspense, the second book in the Lost and Found series has my heart.

Nash and Maddie are so perfect together. The passion they have for each other… it's too amazing. These two had been in love with each other for years. However, Nash didn't feel worthy of her, and Maddie didn’t think Nash shared her feelings. Mutual pining is one of my favorite tropes, and this just sang to my soul.

When I read Whispers of You, I had a feeling Nash was going to be my favorite. I was sooo right. I love him so much. He thinks he has the reputation of being the jokester, the unreliable one. Not fit for relationships. But if there's any situation where Maddie or one of his siblings need something, he’s the first to help. He loves Maddie so hard. When she returns to Cedar Ridge - after being mistreated and abused by her fiancé - and Nash sees her injured and he goes all "who did this?!" I swear my knees buckled.

I loved this book so much. Catherine Cowles' small town romances are the perfect blend of heart and suspense. I will never not want more. I'm excited to read Grae and Caden’s book next.

The narration: Erin Mallon and Jason Clarke brought these characters to life. Great emotion. Great passion. They were incredible. *sigh* I could listen to Jason Clarke forever. He was the perfect Nash. The soulfulness of his voice paired with Nash's longing… I melted.
