Publisher's summary

The past and present collide in an epic fight for Ragond’s future.

The rebellion is in full swing. Nova and Zeph have gathered renegade dragon riders, witches, and Mythoi to take on Ragond’s corrupt Council and bring down the notorious Link Mage once and for all. But years of war have bred distrust between Ragondians and Mythoi alike. They are as likely to fight amongst themselves as they are to take on the Council.

Nova’s own push to fight alongside the Mythoi casts suspicion on her. But she knows the truth: If the Mythoi and Ragond don’t stop the infighting and preserve their worlds, there’ll be no chance to bring down the Link Mage. Not to mention that Nova’s chance at finding her mother will be lost.

Especially when the portals are growing increasingly unstable.

As rebel forces fight to reclaim Stonehaven and clash with Ragond’s corrupt Council members, Nova realizes time is no longer on their side. They must find the Link Mage and stop him before everything - and everyone - she loves is destroyed.

No matter what it costs her.

Queen of the Dragons' Ava Richardson invites you to immerse yourself in a dragon-filled world with epic magic, fearless heroes, and, at its heart, the deep bond between dragon and rider.

Excellent combination of Dragons and Magic

The Portal War Trilogy was excellent. I truly loved the main character Nova, even with her flaws. In the end, those flaws made her so much stronger. I have always been a fan of dragons and this trilogy was my first introduction to Ava Richardson 's dragon world.

The narrator did a great job and was a good choice for this storywhich centers around Nova. Her performance was wonderful. There were a couple of parts that I felt she was not as consistent with her different voices, but overall those were small and she kept my attention. I did feel she read through the battle scenes a little more quickly, which made it harder for me to keep up. I completely understand though, they were exciting!

Over, wonderful! If you love dragons and magic, this trilogy is an excellent listen.

Wonderful!!

If you love dragon stories this author, Ava Richardson, is awesome. And the narrator, Rebekah Nemethy, is a top notch story teller in her narration! All the emotions, feelings, dialogue between characters are spot on. I can not wait for more from these two!

Best Ava Richardson ever!

I’ve read many of Ava’s books/series, but this series was by far my favorite. Well written with several twists and excellent narration and storyline.

Loved it. Great conclusion

I was expecting something different, but I can't say what I was expecting and what I actually got without giving away spoilers. Let us just say that I was pleasantly surprised that the author did not take the obvious path through the complicated world and challenges she created (and those were complicated in a good way). Great characters in a great world, and I hope to see more in this setting. There are many great things the author will be able to do with the great foundation that has been laid.

I am definitely looking forward to more.

Supernatural Monsters Are Supernatural Equals

Nova and Zephyr continue their journey of seeking knowledge along with getting information to rescue Nova's mother. This third book is action-packed with many twists. The Mithos are not monsters but Nova has to try to bring about please that has not existed in too many years. This series is great.
