Life is flipped upside down for Cheyenne Haney when her fairytale-like relationship of 5 years suddenly ends the day her boyfriend finally proposes to her. From annoying exes to traumatic past experiences to unwanted surprises, will their relationship be able to withstand the chaos? Or will their worst fears of heartbreak be reinforced?

I loved this story so much because it was real and raw, and it wasn't too much sex, but just the right amount. Which I truly loved because sometimes especially in lgbtq books its just sex sex sex sex and even in man and women book, sex sex sex. So I'm super glad that it has sustain. 10000000/10000000 definitely recommend

Ok so I did love the book but I felt at times or all the times the author was getting too cared away with the hood slang hip vernacular. I enjoyed that they were black characters and sounded as such but I felt like she was trying a little too hard to show they were black characters. Only not dislike but gripe. Otherwise great book can’t wait to try more.

After i got past the narrator. I thoroughly enjoyed this love story! No negative plot twists or surprises. Flat out ADULT love! The details were amazing! Being married to a woman myself, i was fully able to imagine every scene, scenario and emotion!

Great storyline with a lot of steam. The conflict wasn’t boring and the love the characters have for each other makes me melt every time. They are perfect and healthy for one another.

Ayyyyeeeeeeeeeeee for all my real #wlw the backpack scenes are bar none, and I love how the author tried to include a variety of journey experiences that #wlw experiences as they come into their sexuality
