Great story but a change in narrator
For me, Peter Noble is Jack Blackjack. His mannerisms, the whiny tone, and self pitying attitude made Jack come alive in ones mind not to mention that Mr. Noble acted the role to perfection so one must wonder why the change in narrator?
Kris Dyer is a decent narrator and does series he is involved with well but just couldn't match what Peter Noble created in becoming Jack Blackjack. Mr. Dyer does not do a bad job but be prepared to hear and feel a change in the narration.
I feel any time the narrator is changed in a series it almost always leaves a fan disappointed and is never fair to the replacement narrator. One must always remember that there may have been circumstances that made the change of narrator unavoidable. If a new narrator is needed to continue the series then Mr. Dyer would be a decent choice.
The story is great per usual for Mr. Jecks and this audiobook is still worthy of a credit.
