About this listen

With a Foreword by J.D. Vance

Heritage Foundation president Kevin Roberts outlines a peaceful "Second American Revolution" for voters looking to shift the power back into the hands of the people.

America is on the brink of destruction. A corrupt and incompetent elite has uprooted our way of life and is brainwashing the next generation. Many so-called conservatives are as culpable as their progressive counterparts.

In this ambitious and provocative book, Heritage Foundation President Dr. Kevin Roberts announces the arrival of a New Conservative Movement. His message is simple: Global elites—your time is up.

Dawn’s Early Light blazes a promising path for the American people to take back their country. Chapter by chapter, it identifies institutions that conservatives need to build, others that we need to take back, and more still that are too corrupt to save: Ivy League colleges, the FBI, the New York Times, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, the Department of Education, BlackRock, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the National Endowment for Democracy, to name a few.

All these need to be dissolved if the American way of life is to be passed down to future generations.

The good news is, we’re going to win.

The Swamp is so drunk on power that the elites don't realize the ground is moving beneath their feet. In Washington, they wear foreign flags on their lapels, but they don’t protect our border. They wave around the Constitution, but they don’t respect its wisdom. They appeal to Reagan, but Reagan would never put up with this non-sense.

Their decadence will be their downfall. A new day is here.

A lot if great information. However, he uses a lot of bug words that normal people do not use in our everyday language. Definitely broadening the horizon of vocabulary.

Big Words - Have Dictonary

Nobody cares about the star ratings from people saying he’s mean, crazy, or some kind of bigot. They’re the ones that he describes in the book as being against US traditions, Christianity, and strong families.

Now to actually review the book for the not crazies:

The book is pretty good. If you like your political theory books to be ground in anecdotes backed up by popular philosophy and then solid examples, this book is up your alley. If you are looking for a hard treatise of political philosophy like Hobbes or Locke, then you won’t enjoy this nearly as much.

His analysis of the current elites of society is spot on, as well as how we got to the point that we are at. This book, in combination with Chris Rufo’s cultural revolution book, paints an accurate picture of the elites and those people who end up supporting them in their destructive goals.

He does need to add more on policies or concrete strategies though. Considering he co-wrote the project 2025 plan, I was hoping for more of that.

Your 1 stars mean nothing, I’ve seen what makes you cheer

I’m conservative and was hoping for some insight into practical, concrete action on how to reduce and eventually eliminate the destructive Marxist influences on our institutions and on the minds of many Americans. Sadly this book did not offer constructive advice.

Tom Cotton opens up the truth of conniving and manipulative intolerant regime of the CCP.
He demonstrates the dishonesty of a CCP controlling the US and our local freinds and neighbors.
We have been deceived by our own leaders locally as well as nationally.
The CCP manipulates Colleges and High Schools like St. Croix Lutheran in Saint Paul Mn.
The CCP controls some Sister City programs in major US Cities.
Admiral Yamamoto, the designer of Pearl Harbor, learned how to kill US soldiers and sailors in the US academy before WWII. Nazi researchers were learning how to build the nuclear bomb and delivery systems (airplanes).

We don't need any more right and left wing fanatics pushing their extremist views down our throats. We need moderates who listen, discuss, debate, and decide on policies with genuine care for the American people. ...moderates who listen, discuss, debate, and decide on policies with genuine care for the American people. ...with genuine care for the American people. We're tired of being used for the sake of power, fame, and self-righteous ego boosts.

Extreme views and bitter dialect.

This book is nothing but propaganda to push a narrative. I do not recommend this book, division will never create unity.

Not your average political book — a real plan for restoring our republic and revitalizing institutions of family, community, education and more.

A winning plan for America

I am a conservative and I read conservative books. Many conservative books like Ben Shapiro‘s work wastes half the book giving you a history lesson of what you already know. This entire book was just main points of conservatism. Nothing new was said. No new ideas no thought or provoking theories. This was just one quick cash grab post election.

Regurgitated bullet points of conservatism. No new ideas.

Roberts is not your typical think tank president. His understanding of the ordinary American’s experience, his insight into the problems they experience, and his informed proposals for how to rectify them and renew the American project make this a most important book.

An informed, positive, humane, and spiritual vision to revitalize America

Chapter 5 was the best as it focused on the most important, and most difficult, problems of our time.
