Another well-written story from a very good author

Dawn of the Enemy (A Raina Storm Action Thriller Book 2), my third read from author Kim Cresswell. A well-written short thriller with captivating, well-developed main characters. 2-hours 41-minute/94-pages.I’ll be reading more by this author and look forward to reading the next book in this series! Sarah L. Colton's narration again adds greatly to the listening enjoyment with a wide variety of entertaining voices & inflections. I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Super suspenseful

The follow-up book exceeded my expectations greatly. It was intense, raw , and gripping. Nonstop action and edge of your seat listen. Raina is a deadly force to be reckoned with. She's like a fighting machine and super hero in one. Raina has a score to settle and it ain't over yet!!!! Awesome. Can't wait for more. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest opinion. The narrator did a great job bringing the characters and story to life. I recommend this series.

Second action-packed book

This being the second book in the series, I had high expectations and they were met. I enjoyed the book because it was, same as the first, a fast-paced interesting book. I enjoy short books who focus on adventure and action while still managing to be character-focused. I love Raina – she’s a woman of mystery and tremendous power. A former CIA operative, she’s focused on her family these days, most specifically her daughter whom she’s dedicated to protecting at all costs.

The danger is real for Hal and Raina as they travel to Russia to try to find out who has put a bounty on their heads. Again, the detail of the country they’re visiting is lush with small details. As always, I was rooting for Raina and Hal to succeed in their mission.

Sarah L. Colton is a great choice to narrate the Raina Storm books. She handles Raina, her daughter, and the former FBI officer Hal with talent. She is a fabulous narrator. Overall, a great listen.

Dawn of the Enemy

Raina Storm is back and someone has outed her and members of the team from her last job. She is in Bangkok with her daughter and has no one to turn to or help. She must get back to the states and find help. The story is action packed, super fun/edge of your seat kind of book. Sarah L Colton does a fantastic job on the narration.

Dawn of the Enemy

When the team finds out there is a bounty on Raina's head after their little job in Columbia, they know they need to get her back to the USA and in a safe place for her safety and that of her daughter, the only problem is they have to wait for her to make contact with them first.

This is a spin off of the Whitney Steele series but that aside Raina is interesting enough she can have her own series. Raina used to be a assassin but she put it aside now that she is a mom, but she keeps getting pulled in because she is a mom. This book is so full of action and suspense, that you won't be able to put it down, it will keep you up way past your bedtime to see what happens next, and if you are like me and get the audio version you will start hanging out in strange places just so you can get a few more minutes in any where you can, because Sarah Colton is a wonderful narrator and makes you feel as though you are part of the team, so of course you have to be there to stay and help with next mission right?

Another heart pumping adventure!

I always feel like I’ve run a race after listening to a Raina Storm book...and this one was no different!
Raina is currently living with her daughter, Jaden, in Bangkok...and enjoying a nice day when she notices guys coming after her. In typical Raina fashion, she dispatches of the trio before taking her daughter and running. Several more attempts are made on Raina’s life before she finally makes it to Las Vegas where she meets up with her team. There she discovers that someone has identified her team as the ones responsible for destroying a Columbian compound...and there’s a $30 million dollar bounty on their heads. Follow Raina as she works to eliminate the threat to her and the team. The bad guys don’t stand a chance...you’d think they’d learn by now! Great book and I’m looking forward to more!!!
I accepted a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Wow

This one was hard to listen to at some points because I have a daughter so I put my self in her shoes. This book was action packed! I didn’t put it down! The characters are well rounded, the scenes come to life, and Sarah does a great job with voice changes!

Awesome Thriller! Incredible Narration!

Dawn of The Enemy by Kim Cresswell really impressed me the author's writing styled vibrant imagery. She packed a lot of action in a short story. I loved how the character of Raina Storm was a former assassin, with the priority of a mother. She places her daughter's safety first. This book is both a standalone listen and part of a series. Sarah L Colton is incredible for performing this book. I could hear exactly who was speaking, and her Russian accent was so good! This book has some unexpected twists, non-stop action, and a great ending. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. I will definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator.

Suspenseful!

This is the second book in the Raina Storm Triller. This is a short story, really well written, fast-paced, action packed and really suspenseful. The storyline is captivating, and easy to follow, despite all the action and danger. Sarah L. Colton did a wonderful job with the narration. She has a beautiful voice. Now, I can't wait for the next book in the Series.
