Publisher's summary

Hell hath no fury like a mother scorned.

Ema will stop at nothing to keep her innocent unborn twins safe. But with one prophesied to be the Messiah and the other pure evil, she may as well paint a target on their backs. And time is running out.

With war looming on the horizon, Ema must abandon her family to attend Elite training. Spies lurk around every corner and no one is who they say. Least of all the man Ema loves most.

Lives will be lost in the final battle for the Neo-Draugrian crown as passions are sacrificed for the survival of the vampyre race.

Who will fall, and who will rise?

Love Love Love!!!

This has been such an amazing series! This can't be the end!! I need more! The narrator is so talented with this series! The way she's able to give each character a voice and the way you're able to feel all the emotions of each and every character is just amazing! I am a little upset with what progressed in this book. The major event that happened, I still can't believe it. If you know, you know. Definitely broke my heart! I hope we get series spin off because I need more! 100% my favorite series to date! :)

Decent Wrap Up to the Series

And with that, Ema Marx has come to a close with this final installment. Ema displays strength, courage, and smarts (again!) to ensure those she loves are cared for. The story shows continued character development. Although I highly recommend this series, I did find that the wrap up of the series wasn’t what I was expecting and it was a little disappointing. I would love a spin off series that helps wrap some things up!

The narrator has once again done a smashing job with the narration and audio. MJ Webb is one of my favorite narrators and she helps bring these characters to life.

Don’t mess with momma bear

Wowza. Don’t mess with momma. Ema once again is not one to be messed with. Unfortunately, she is not my favorite character. Jesu on the other hand, fictional boyfriend material!

It’s definitely worth a read or a listen. The audible version is again narrated by MJ Webb. She, as usual, is amazing. Her accents and voices are so perfect.

Now, I was disappointed that it wasn’t tired up nicer being a now completed series. That’s the only reason I didn’t give it 4 stars.

Can't believe this is the end!

I would have given this book 5 stars if it wasn't the last one in the series. There's just too much up in the air. But it was still a great story. The characters are real and vulnerable - the epilogue especially.

The narration was phenomenal again. It's hard to remember that there is only one person speaking. The narrator does such a wonderful job changing tone and cadence of her speech for each character.

I'm hoping that J.D. Brown will have a sequel series.🤞

Mind blown

The 5th book is just as if not more riveting than those before it. So many incredible twists and turns.

I am disappointed that so many big things that are so prominent in the later books, like the prophecy of Jordan battling her brother, isn’t in the book and has no ending. I’m still giving it 5 stars because it’s just that good and I’m still miffed.

MJ Webb is, yet again, phenomenal in her narration of this book.
