About this listen

Who says a girl can’t be alpha?

With the Alpha Trials starting, I have to get my head in the game. Problem is, my heart is so obsessed with my infuriating cursed mate, I can’t focus. But I have to. Because with the secret of my true bloodline out, the supreme alpha wants my head on a platter. And he’s not above using the trials to get the job done.

As if surviving the dreaded trials wasn’t bad enough, I also have to deal with the unwanted (and sometimes deadly) advances of the other Lunar Pack competitors. Who knew this mate thing was such a big deal? Now I’ve got vampire, fairy, and angel wolf hybrids chasing my tail.

That does not make my possessive fated mate happy. Between stolen kisses and sidelong glances, he refuses to complete our mate bond unless the curse is broken, but that doesn’t mean he wants anyone else’s paws on me, either.

All I have to do is get my mystical powers working, win the trials, and cure my cursed mate, and I’ll be one happy she-wolf. Easy, right?

This is an upper young adult/new adult crossover with schmexy alpha wolves and best suited for ages 16-plus. Be warned, this is a slow-burn, enemies-to-lovers romance, and the steaminess factor does increase through the course of the series!

Wolfish is set within the world of Azar, along with (in listening order) Hitched, Darkblood Academy, Royally Hitched, and Darkblood Prison, but it's not necessary to listen to the other series first to enjoy this one.

Absolutely LOVED this book.

Let me start by saying I came across this book because I like the narrator’s voice (Ian King Morris) and am so glad I did! After listening to this one, I basically started collecting all of the audiobooks by this author and I don’t regret it one bit! :)

Good

Okay the female narrator did a fabulous job but the male narrator well was not so great. He like dragged it or he was bored reading. Don’t get me wrong he has a great tone of voice but needs a bit more kick to it. It’s just my opinion. Listen and give your own opinion. Anyway, the story over all was incredible. The world the author created just sucks you right in. So I can say I can recommend it.

Mixed feelings

I have mixed feelings about this one. The story line is great and the narrators did amazing. Although I wish there was more for the male narrator instead of just a couple scenes.
Here's where my issue comes in. The FMC - the whole book she talks about herself as this BA and how she will become the next Supreme alpha butttt the entire book she is weak and constantly needs her mate to save her. I totally get her not starting off all BA but I felt she had no growth in being this strong BA character that she references herself to be during this book.
I dunno I really struggled with her character and wanted to shake her the whole book.
But if that doesn't bug you, then the book honestly is really good.
