Welcome to Darkblood Prison, where the worst criminals in the supernatural realm roam the murky corridors, aka my new home. According to my cellmate, there are three rules to survive the notorious prison: Don’t mix with the other supes, stick to your own kind. Anything can be made into a weapon so get creative. Stay away from the infamous Triad, the three brothers who run the prison. Rules aren’t really my thing, so I doubt I’ll survive my first week, let alone my 10-year sentence for soul sucking an entire Fae village I have no memory of.

As if coming to terms with my own demon and making nice with the scary inmates wasn’t bad enough, someone seems hell-bent on permanently ending my stay at Darkblood. Thankfully, the devastatingly gorgeous and equally infuriating leader of the Triad, who hates me for no apparent reason, still manages to show up whenever I get into trouble. With his help, I begin to piece together my missing memories and discover there’s much more to my bogus incarceration.

There’s a reason I was sent here, a dark family secret is coming back to haunt me. As it turns out, the baddies in this prison are nothing compared to the forces of the Underworld that are coming for me.

Azara, finds herself in a supernatural prison after she discovers that she killed several supernaturals. Azara is slowly taking in her new surroundings and the rules of supernatural prison, and she finds herself falling for a sizzling and broody Talon.
Talon is one of Azara’s bodyguards. Which she certainly needs since trouble keeps finding Azara in prison.
Azara struggles with the dark side of her, and she questions how dark she is. The pacing was even throughout the book. The storyline kept me very intrigued. I really enjoyed the supernatural prison and how it operates with the baddies running the place. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

I really enjoyed the narrator, Jess. I felt like she was the perfect voice for Azara. The inflections and variety of tones she used were great and very easy to follow along. I highly recommend the audiobook. It certainly elevated the book for me.

I've read all of her Azar series or listened to the audiobooks and I am obsessed. you cannot go wrong with any (although for continuity start with Hitched). I love this world and the characters she's brought in.

This book is amazing. I finished it i one day because I could stop listening. The narrator did a great job. This book shows you cant always judge someone before you know all sides of the story. And the way this book was end makes you what to know what is going to happen next. Can't wait to see what happens next.

I loved it! so much is going on here, I'm glad that we are able to go on this journey with Azara. Azara is an 18 year old who wants to do what she wants in her life, she wants to be free. In this story literally all her freedom is taken away and she has to grow up fast and realize that everything she wanted and how she wanted it to happen will not be easy to get or worth getting without effort, she learns that she wants to grow and learn. I love the bombs dropped at the end, some of which I saw coming and others that I did not.

What happens when I night out results in you waking up in prison with no idea how you got there or why?
Add in some alphahole cell mates and some crazy secrets and you’ve got a non stop story with enough twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat wanting more.

I loved the audiobook so much! The narrator did a fantastic job with these characters. This is one of those stories that definitely makes you have to question people’s motives and wait to judge until you have all sides of the story. Azara ended up finding herself in prison after she’d apparently killed many supernatural people. She’s got a lot to learn and has to figure out how to stay alive. I couldn’t stop listening because I needed to know what would happen next! I want way more of these amazing characters.
