About this listen

She’s his, body and soul.

Amelia
Dad promised me he’d stop sneaking into the Veil. He lied. Which is why I found a teaching job in the Court of His Highness, Gabriel the Virtuous. His school for misguided youth is nearest to the Veil. If he catches me sneaking around, I’m toast.

My problems mount when I meet Gabriel face to face - and my soul lights up and begins to dance. He’s six-feet-three of muscle with midnight-blue eyes and a body made for lust - which is decidedly not on his list of virtues.

Gabriel
Keeping the peace among the Courts and containing Lucifer’s growing power is my top priority. But I never expected to meet my soul’s mate, and now that I have it’s all I can do to retain control of my instinct to breed.

I can’t afford to let anyone know Amelia is my weakness. But the Veil is cracking, and so is my resolve. When Lucifer takes her hostage, I may have to compromise every last one of my virtues to save her and keep the Courts from falling under Lucifer’s control.

Third book to finish the series

This book connected itself to the two before it seamlessly. It showed how differently the angels took on the responsibility for the humans once they decided to fall. They went against the orders of the father, in order to stop the progress and destruction of their brother Lucifer. He was in serious need of some type of social counseling. There were funny parts and there was extremely serious part. All in all it was really good considering that the Angels fell to save us

Wild Ending

What a wild ending to the series; it was almost hard to keep up with everything that was going on. Narrators did a great job. Amelia’s character was a bit weak in my opinion. Still liked Raphael’s personality more than Gabriel and Michael. It wasn’t the best series from this author, but not the worse thing I’ve listened to.

Good but short ending to the series

I was very excited to listen to this book and I really enjoyed the first 2, but as it went I was worried it would be a rinse and repeat of the other stories. I think Milana did the right thing here with keeping it short and tying up loose ends quickly to finish the series.

It is a good book with good narration. I wasn't sure about Sean Crisden voice for Gabriel, but it ended up working well for the character.

Overall a nice ending to the series. I think this was a perfect way to end it and preserve the world she built.
