Acerca de esta escucha

Contains all three books in the Chimera King series.

Choose a class. Win your girls. Reclaim the world.

Cade Clarke spends his last night on Earth drinking with an old Army buddy. When he decides to risk his life to defend a gorgeous bartender, he pays the ultimate price.

Resurrected to Antinium, Cade finds himself thrown into a world where the very rules of reality have shifted. He chooses a unique class, customizes his soul weapon, and levels up to unlock vital skills, traits, and attribute points in order to survive.

Cade's chances for success are minimal until he finds his destiny intertwined with a group of sexy women, who will help him build a village and fight his foes beside him. They must grow strong enough to overthrow an evil tyrant or die trying...

Chimera King novels contain adult content, unconventional relationships, graphic and persistent violence, and a hero whose humor belongs most appropriately in a military barracks. Proceed at your own risk.

I kind of felt like it was a bit of a robbery at the end of the other two didn't get pregnant. But if they didn't want to that was something else. Which I respect that as a creative choice. It was still just kind of weird only two of them got pregnant though.

Also I was almost expecting the wolf woman Chaah to join in and become one of the lovers or wives. I felt like it would have been a bit more of a surprise if they suddenly had the Amazon Satimi become a mom and take up her spear again. And for the demoness - Ketzel to become a mom, as one of the first demons to do so in probably millennia and have their buddy Pablo there to help.

I was also surprised that they didn't get some new soul weapons. And that Caed's condition as a Chimera Lord turned King didn't have the classic 3 headed beast aspect (although that's a media exaggeration Since it's actually two heads - The Lion and the Goat, with the tail being a living Serpent/Snake). By way of being able to fly or something at some point, since part of his aspect was draconic (Which is also often exaggerated in media reinterpretations of a chimera).

Part of me was also kind of hoping or at least waiting to see if for comedic reasons, Rondam the (hill) giant was going to bed one of the Kotani Ape females, Since there didn't seem to be any other women around that could handle him 😅😂. (Also “hill giant" since to my knowledge about fantasy stuff, they're among the smallest of the Giants species, as a subspecies compared to something like a frost giant or mountain giant).

Last but not least, I was partly expecting the land of Antium to go through something like a geographical change. Like the vast sea around the island (because the place was too small to be a true subcontinent) would be drained away by the gods after all of the insanity that happened to them.

And leave it for the people, flora and fauna to grow. Not to mention how, like Caed found the 2nd town interface and set up Camp Casmir, there was likely more of them around. Like in the mountains that they kept referencing Or maybe one in that lake where those mer people/amphibioid people lived. but overall I can't really say I was disappointed with the story. I actually greatly enjoyed it.

Definitely not bad, although I wondered why the other 2 ladies didn't get knocked up

The start was a bit disappointing but understandable. The battles were enticing. I won't lie I was hoping for another orgy again with his pregnant ladies

what I was looking for

Dang, this was a fun ride and I wonder if we see more of Cade and this new world in future book series!

What a ride

Nobody likes an underpowered main character. The guy doesn’t even hardly ever put any points in his strength. He doesn’t even try to be more powerful, especially in the third book. There’s so many other people stronger than him. It seems like the only thing he cares about is making his charisma as high as possible Just so people will like him and do what he wants. That’s pretty lame. One more thing that really bothers me at the end of everything after everyone’s lost their soul weapons. Why doesn’t anybody ask Pablo about getting them back or why don’t they even seem to be upset about it? I mean cade had a bad ass soul weapon and now it’s gone and he just doesn’t seem to even care that’s very unrealistic.

This trilogy could have been so much better
