The Book EVERYONE NEEDS
The only people who don't need this book are Oprah, Tony Robbins, Deepak Choprah and perhaps Warren Buffett. It isn't about losing weight, it's about overcoming obstacles, freeing ourselves from the chains of destructive habits and ending the cycle of story telling in our own minds. Honestly, life changing!

I love this book - It Fixed Me
My name should be "Duncan" I've yo-yo'd so much over the years. If you were like me, you found yourself starring into the fridge at 10 PM and you're not sure why - this book is for you (and you will learn why you're starring at the fridge). This book explains how true life-changing weight loss starts with your brain, and more importantly your thoughts.
Don't get me wrong this is not a "think about weight loss and it will happen" kind of woo-woo book. It does make some ENORMOUSLY good points on how we think about ourselves and how that has A TON of influence on our choices. Her no-nonsense and insanely vulnerable insights hold a mirror up to your excuses and makes them disappear. For example,
"I can't stop eating." Really? What are you eating now?
"I'm not eating now..."
Oh, so YOU CAN control your eating
If I had one complaint is I hate books that tell me what they are going to tell me. I bought the book - just tell me. With that said when she talks about her childhood, you will find yourself saying "Get the F___ out!" (I know I did). Elizabeth shares all of her story and how she overcame her weight issues. She's super honest (and admits she still doesn't like working out - but does it anyway).
This is real life. This is great advice, and I feel should be read by people trying to lose weight, but also anyone who deals with self-esteem issues (which typically lead to weight issues). I say this with six chapters to go. If the rest of the book was worthless (which I'm sure its not) the book up to this point has been SO GOOD its worth it.

This book will make a difference in your life
I’m a self help book lover. This is not my first book but it is the first book that actually gave me REAL tools to empower change and mindset shift, I can’t recommend this enough.
Elizabeth is an amazing narrator but more than thatC she is the genuine life changing Coach we are all striving to find.
Also please don’t make the mistake of thinking this book is diet related. It took me a while to buy it because I thought it was about loosing weight and that is not an issue or mine. I WAS WROKG. This book is about mental strength and about achieving life goals and getting out of dark places. I’m so glad I decided to give it a try

Inspiring
It was inspiring and helpful. One objection is that author minimises and ridicules the real power of food addiction. It’s almost as if I will say “heroin addiction? It’s nothing, it’s not a big deal.” This creates a potential self-blame in case of failure. Otherwise, book is really good.

So many little nuggets of motivational insights
I found myself opening up my iPhone notepad to write down some of my favorite quotes/thoughts— there were many. I love how most of this can be applied to various Obstacles we each face- And I feel like I can apply this to both my business and my personal journey with health and fitness and even my marriage! I like the authors reading of her words and you could hear in her voice and tone how she work through some of her own issues- relatable and practical ☺️
