A friends to lovers romance...and then some

Run a pie shop with her sisters for a year. Date for the first time at age 29. Don’t be terrified.

Well, she’s got the first thing under control at least. Mostly. But this is exactly what a best friend is for. Advice, pep talks, matchmaking, sex education....

So what if her best friend is a guy? A very hot, tattooed, ex-Marine mechanic guy? He’s definitely well-versed in everything she needs to know. And she trusts him. Who better to teach her the man-woman stuff she’s been missing out on?

But there could be one tiny problem. The only person causing her any butterflies - and dirty dreams - is her matchmaker himself.

Love and healing in a small town

I loved, loved Brynn and Noah’s friends to lovers, steamy instruction, healing romance of all the things. This was my favorite book and my favorite couple in the series. I have a soft spot for the people who are a bit uncomfortable in their skin because they don’t feel like they fit in or are worthy, like Brynn and Noah. So I love when they finally see their truth and they get swoon worthy HEAs. Brynn is a triplet from an uber wealthy NYC family. She runs the lab of her family’s billion dollar company and is the “quiet” sister. When Brynn’s estranged father dies, his will requires the sisters to live in small town Bliss Kansas for a year, run a pie shop for a profit, and do specific jobs that are not in their wheelhouse. Brynn has to take care of the customers and the front of the pie shop and goes on a date with 6 different men. Noah is a mechanic in town. Brynn’s father specifically asked him to take care of Brynn so he has befriended her for six months. They do everything together but insist they’re not “dating.” They both have baggage from their past that they need to deal with before they can get to their HEA but especially Noah. It is a heartwarming, fun and steamy journey to witness. The story was well written and included witty dialogue, three dimensional characters who grow, and an engaging storyline with sweet moments, steamy scenes, laughs, supportive friends, messy families, painful pasts, quirky townspeople, and all the love. I am sad this series is ending. I’ll miss the triplets, their men and the town of Bliss.

Summer Roberts and Tyler Donne did a great job narrating the story and characters into life with enough change of inflection, tone and cadence to voice multiple characters quite convincingly.

Fantastic Trilogy

I loved all 3 books but I think this one was my favorite. New York to Kansas was a huge change for the girls. Meeting their like persons was a journey I really enjoyed. I usually don't like trilogies but after reading/listening to the first book, I started downloading the next 2 one third into the book and at 71 years of age, I've told all my friends about them. Now I'm looking into my next book by you.
