Publisher's summary

George and Harold, and their doubles, Yesterday George and Yesterday Harold, have a good thing going. Two of them go to school, while the other two hide in the tree house and play video games all day - then they switch! But it turns out there's something rotten in the state of Ohio, and it's smellier than a pile of putrid gym socks. The boys' malicious gym teacher, Mr. Meaner, has created a method of mind control that transforms their fellow students into attentive, obedient, perfect children. Now the future of all humanity is in George and Harold and Yesterday George and Yesterday Harold's hands!

Old People Feel Unhappy!

Old Harold and old George were super unhappy being called old people by their younger version of selves in the book. Hilarious!

Terrible & uncouth

My son loves Captain underpants, but these have steadily gotten worse. I just listened to him, playing this in the background and couldn’t believe the steady stream of filth that it was. Completely unimaginative and I refuse to buy any more of these for my son.

Too much politics for a children's book

One of the joys of childhood is the lack of politics. Sadly this author has chosen to add unnecessary elements to try to sway children to his political views. Right or Left, just let kids be kids.

Talked about punching someone in the face.

Not a friendly kids book.
We’ve been listening to this book on our way to school. And I’m thinking to myself why am I listening to this book? He just talked about punching someone in the face and made the sound that punching in someone in the face sounds like. And so my son getting dropped off at school talking about punching someone in the face , not a kids book.

Exactly what is wrong with society

I wish someone could explain to me why a children’s book author feels the need to flat out state adult issues. Our children are forced to grow up too fast as it is, without your agenda pushing under the disguise of a children’s book. Shame on you.
