About this listen

The second book in Tapioca Style Series from best-selling author G. Landy-Kordis. Short story fictional tales that almost feel and read like screenplays. A mutilated body found in a field may be the work of a serial killer the Fed's have been trying to nab. Detective Tap is told not to get to vested in the investigation, but bits and pieces of information make her neighbors look mighty suspicious. Tap is determined to find out their story all while trying to fit in a little romance, as well.

Busted by Tapioca?

This series is amazing and I am enjoying the intrigue and mystery surrounding Tapioca and her career in law enforcement. Murder is not the only thing on Tap's mind; she is determined to find some romance as well.
I love this series and the way it is written like a screenplay. I like that the main character has a family and she deals with being a busy mom and a career woman. Excellent story.

addictive!

The narrator does a wonderful job. She does excellent character voices. She really helps you connect with the characters and come to know who they are, care for them, and connect on an emotional level with them. tap is back at work, continuing to raise her two children, and having some disappointments and surprising changes in her personal life. There is a one sentence cliffhanger at the end of this book, they will have you immediately picking up the next book in the series. You will not be disappointed!

Fantastic! I Loved It!

One neighbor has daddy issues, another is seeing ghosts and a third apparently wants to harm to the local felines. Then there is the matter of that dismembered corpse. Detective Greco certainly has her hands full in this one! Picking up where Shattered (Book 1) left off, Busted is a well written, smooth, character driven story that had me so engaged and entertained that I totally lost track of what was going on around me. Hopefully hubby will forgive me for burning dinner! I am finding that I love Georgianne Landy-Kordis’ style of writing very, very much. I almost feel like I am hiding in the hedge watching what the neighbors are getting up to when I am listening to her work! The narration is on point, making the time fly by while listening! Perhaps the best part was the teaser at the very end hinting that the story is not yet done. Hopefully that means there will be more to come! Please, Georgianne Landy-Kordis, please. I am willing to beg! Five well earned stars!

Life goes on.

Tap is back on the job as a mom and a cop. A body in a field. Not-so-normal neighbors.

This second book in the series has another serious crime. She's still working to get over the loss of her husband and worrying that whoever shot him was still after her. With her busy life is it even possible to add a man to the mix?

Another story just long enough to have all the good stuff in but not so long the reader/listener can't do so in a couple of lunchtime or bedtime stories. Tap catches what other officers often miss. She's a good detective. To add to the crime investigation, you'll find some possible romance. Is she ready? Will it work?
