Perfect Introduction Buddhism and Meditation

I am interested in learning about Buddhism, this audio-book was a nice, very gentle introduction. If you are thinking about Buddhism then it is a wonderful starter audio-book. Guided meditation for self confidence and positive thinking is a great part for meditation practice. The audio-book is easy to listen and understand. I would recommend for any beginner.

This experience has changed my life.

For 42 years, I've been waiting for the wisdom of these teachings. My life will never be the same again. And because the narrator's voice is so calming, I would absolutely recommend the audio over the text. I hope everyone who reads this review will take the time to listen to this audiobook. Good introduction.

This is by far the best introduction to Buddhism including meditation practices. It's actually not a 'beginners' audio-book as it explores more of the advanced aspects to Buddhism. Allows the listener to gain quick knowledge on a very difficult subject to summarize. Excellent audio-book!

A great start.

I just finished this book on Audible and found it easy to listen to and encouraging. I will likely purchase the paperback version when it live on amazon, to highlight keys parts that I can revisit easily.

Excellent intro into Buddhism and Meditation.

I felt the book did an excellent job of explaining the different aspects of Buddhism. It was definitely what I was looking for as far as being able to explore and understand the concepts of Buddhism. In meditation part, the strategies you learn will help you to identify obstacles, set and achieve goals, and improve your thinking in order to help you become a more confident version of yourself. As a psychologist, I plan to recommend this book to others and will likely also use these excellent strategies to improve myself.

Perfect start for Buddhism and Meditation practice

A quick and complete overview of Buddhism and mindfulness meditation practice. I wish I had this when i was younger but no worries and glad i found it now and will show my kids.

Incredibly insightful!

I have always been curious about Buddhism. This book gave me a clear and concise understanding of its origin and its meaning! It has encouraged me to continue with my meditation practice and to grow and find more joy and peace in My life through my daily practice.

It’s practical, useful and it simplifies.

It’s practical, useful, and it simplifies what confidence really means as opposed to what most people perceive it to be; superficial and physical. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is seeking to strengthen this area of their life, I think you’ll find it helpful.

Best intro of Buddhism and Meditation.

Discovered this collection on Audible after having been a Buddhist for some fifty years and loved it! Listen to it from time to time. Not a dry history but rather clear sense of how Buddhism looks and feels. Wonderful! Also, this book helped me to overcome my difficulties as I learnt that happiness is very simple as long as you know the correct techniques. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is feeling low and not so happy in life.

Beautiful book

I highly recommend it if you are interested in leading a happier more fulfilling life. Personally I have experienced greater joy and feelings of contentment by practicing the exercises in this book.
