Best type of noise I’ve found.
It helps reducing anxiety, and in a different way it makes you read books properly. which prevents every sounds that is external. and also helps to feel calmness.

AMAZING
I wasn't sure about it at first but after 15 minutes I feel a lot calmer and more relaxed and can't hear my neighbors talking and outside noise as easily anymore

This is great!
This really stimulated me and made me tense, from the first seconds. Mind you, my Mum used to find rain soothed her to sleep while it will not only keep me wide awake, but I have to sit up and play the radio or watch TV to mask the noise and keep it from winding me up until I have a headache.

There are bells!
There are bells in the recording. You read that right, Bells! If you use brown noise to sleep, this recording will wake you up with BELLS after about 4 hours. I'd love to return this purchase for a full return and will likely research how to do so. I'm writing this review at 1:45AM. because I was awakened by BELLS after just 4 hours of sleep.

Defeats the purpose.
It is divided into chapters with different types of brown noise. Each chapter is one hour long. This would be fine except at the beginning of each new chapter the sound stops and a narrator says "Chapter __" which immediately wakes me up. Maybe if you're using this to study it won't matter, but if you're using this as a sleep aid this is not for you.

NOT A CONTINOUUS LOOP
I WOULD HAVE GIVEN 5 STARS IF THERE WASN'T A NARRATOR ANNOUNCING CHAPTERS. IT IS NOT NECESSARY AND RUINS THE WHOLE 10 HOURS OF A GREAT PERFORMANCE OF BROWN NOISE.

relaxing? for who?
I've been using brown noise to sleep for some time. my machine I use at night went out on me so I naturally turned to audible....
every chapter the noise changes, and every chapter they announce a chapter number.. these things, according to studies not just myself, disrupt the brain patterns the brown noise creates! and throwing in water sounds mid brown noise is garenteed to wake you up having to pee. worst night sleep of my life! wish I could leave negitive stars... or at least get my credit back

Every two hours announced chapter

Disruptive narrator and changing sounds
Chapters are announced by a loud narrator and the sounds change each chapter, some including chimes/bells. I was trying to use this for a good night’s sleep and experienced the opposite. Very disruptive experience. Would not recommend to anyone wanting to use the sounds for more than about an hour or two at a time.
