About this listen

Crypto Hipster's Mysticals are compilations of individual podcasts from Season 4 and Season 5 of the Crypto Hipster Podcast, covering interviews of founders, entrepreneurs, co-founders, executives, content creators, and much more from July 2022 to August 2023 (anchor.fm/crypto-hipster-podcast). Crypto Hipster podcasts differ from most other cryptocurrency podcasts. While the top venture capital studios, influencers, and promoters of their favorite coins focus on price and market action of Bitcoin, alternative coins, and NFTs, Crypto Hipster focuses on something else:

The long-term societal and personal benefits of blockchain technology use cases, globally.

Crypto Hipster's Mysticals compilations that cover Season 4 and Season 5 are far more than just a catchy-named compilation. While there is a deep focus on technology, they also include common themes faced by entrepreneurs and founders across all industry spectra. This theme is based on "human" issues, which include societal, mindset, social opportunities, and personal growth and development. Of course, they also focus on solving industry and technological problems that we all face in our everyday lives or will face soon.

The United States of America is carefully considering creating a crypto strategic reserve to rebuild the economy and become the crypto hub of the world. Debates abound regarding what should make up that reserve. Bitcoin maximalists believe the reserve should consist of Bitcoin only. Others, such as leaders at Ripple Labs, believe that XRP should be part of the reserve basket. Others believe the reserve should include Litecoin, Avalanche, Solana, ChainLink, Hedera, Aave, or possibly all be a part of an index.

Meanwhile, world leaders from the European Union such as Christine Lagarde, President of the European Central Bank, who are building their own stablecoins to be used within their banking cartel, continue to reject the idea of incorporating Bitcoin into European reserves. These banking leaders claim Bitcoin is too volatile and associated with money laundering. While this statement has been found to be untrue, and the exact opposite with all the fabulous work by Chainalysis in helping solve crimes, Bitcoin cannot be controlled by central authorities, which is a direct threat for these "authorities".

As cryptocurrencies enter the global adoption phase, it will be interesting to see how it all plays out. This fifteenth book in the Crypto Hipster Mysticals series, entitled Bright Vibrant Skies or Blurry Muddy Puddles!" offers some contemporary insights on Bitcoin and draws from four Crypto Hipster Mysticals podcasts. Morgan Rockwell, the founder of Bitcoin Kinetics and creator of the first Bitcoin ATM, shares his thoughts on Bitcoin functionality, even comparing it to Frankenstein's monster. Stefan Rust, CEO and founder of Laguna Labs, ponders how Ethereum, because of its strong developer community, could surpass Bitcoin as the dominant world computer in the coming years. Geoff McCabe, co-founder and Chair of the Divi Project, explains how Bitcoin can help the world escape from an Orwellian future. And Thomas Bardawil, co-founder of Yzer, discusses how the enemies of Bitcoin will eventually fail in any effort to squash its future because Bitcoin is too strong to fail.
