“The most valuable player is the one that makes the most players valuable.” - Peyton Manning
In today’s high stakes game of business, the players on the team are the competitive advantage for any organization. But, only if they are on the field instead of on the bench.
Blue-Collar Leadership® & Teamwork provides a simple, yet powerful and unique, resource for individuals who want to increase their influence and make a high impact. It’s also a resource and tool for leaders, teams, and organizations, who are ready to engage the front line to improve the bottom line.

Mack explains why each trait is critical and how adopting and leveraging each trait will help you develop 360 degree of influence regardless of your position, title, or rank.
High-impact players do more than get results. They motivate and inspire their teammates to get results. Adopting and applying these traits will help you and your team climb to the next level and beyond.

Story
True leadership isn't a matter of having a certain job or title. In fact, being chosen for a position is only the first of the five levels every effective leader achieves. To become more than "the boss" people follow only because they are required to, you have to master the ability to invest in people and inspire them. To grow further in your role, you must achieve results and build a team that produces. You need to help people to develop their skills to become leaders in their own right.

love the book!
love the book it's inspiring helps me refocus and gives me encouragement as I climb this mountain of self-improvement. I have a problem with the performance, he reads it like it's a poem or just a book of quotes. though it has a lot of quotes doesn't have to be read like a book of quotes. I like the book enough to have listened to it twice now and will likely listen to it again. so it's not a deal-breaker for me, I just have to ignore it for the sake of self-improvement.

I liked the character Blue-Collar Bob. Mack used Bob to connect the principles in the book to a story. It makes it easy to digest. I could remember more through a story rather than just principles.
