Blubber is a good name for her, the note from Wendy says about Linda. Jill crumples it up and leaves it on the corner of her desk. She doesn't want to think about Linda or her dumb report on the whale just now. Jill wants to think about Halloween.

But Robby grabs the note, and before Linda stops talking it has gone halfway around the room.

This book opened the door for the Bullying talk with my granddaughter.
I wanted to know if she has experienced anything like this; not only in respect to being on the receiving end but also as the Bully.
I remember how quickly a joke or prank can be turned into something hurtful and demeaning and with a little bit of encouragement from your peers can be the deciding factor as to whether or not the senior stops.

I first read this when I was about 8. It was the first book I ever chose on my own and I loved it! I am now in my 50’s and thought I’d revisit it to see if I still did. Yep! Still do! Great work!

I like that it because it shows kids are going to go through hard times. I dislike that they she said bad words and it was fat shaming someone

I loved this book because it taught me that some kids act this way and don't realize that it hurts others like when my child was bullied for 3 to 4 years she didn't want to go to school or do anything so we moved and went farther away from that school so thank you for writing this book it showed me what to say and what to do thank you!

I loved Judy Blume books as a child and am glad they are available on Audible. Unfortunately, the narrator for this book is one of the worst I've heard. I recommend buying the book and skipping the audio version of Blubber.

The book was great but didn’t care for the reader. Sounded like she was somewhat not fluent in what she was reading. Sounded young.

I ❤️ how this book shows how Karma can affect u. It really shows me how to act, or be… nit as a Wendy. I have been going through some problems with one of my Teachers. She’s a real, big, jerk to me and my friends. I think Judy Blume should make a story about Jerky Teachers! THE BOOK WAS AMAZING OVERALL!❤️❤️❤️❤️✨✨✨

The Reality was very familiar, because I feel like I can be a big Wendy some times and this helps me a lot.
