About this listen

Reborn in a forest of flames. Surrounded by monsters. He must master the System to survive.

In his past life, Dollar was an unparalleled mind forged by the flames of tribulation. He'd built his wealth and influence from nothing and never looked back.

But after dying and reincarnating into the world of Ioa, he is thrust into poverty and trapped in a forest of flames with nothing but a decrepit wooden hut to protect him.

With family out to kill him, an army of monsters surrounding him, and omnipotent gods sent to assassinate him, Dollar finds that in this new world, success is defined by adversity.

He's climbed his way up from rock bottom once, and he refuses to stay there again.

Knowing he will need his wits and more to survive, he learns the art of rune crafting and gains access to a System. From there, he'll begin his ascent. With the power to craft infinite effects and mold existence itself, nothing will stand in his way.

With the entire world stacked against him, Dollar has them right where he wants them...

Don't miss the next action-packed, reincarnation isekai LitRPG series from ThinkTwice, the bestselling author of Mark of the Crijik. Join an unexpected protagonist in the fight for his life as he progresses in power, masters the System, learns magical abilities, and discovers what's really important in life.

Epic Adventure!

The world is lush with possibilities. I absolutely loved this litrpg. It puts unique spin on the system and power dynamics. The MC must use his wit and apply his business savy from his time on earth to overcome dangerous situations. It is a definite read!

Old premise but still entertaining

We could do without the constant reminder of the old life...let the MC jus do what he needs to do..which is kick ass...no need to remind us were he got his spine from...but love the book...next please

Lots of intrigue!

I had trouble liking the main character at first because he was such a slime during his earthly life. But after he transferred to the new world and learn compassion and learned a few things about what really matters, he became more likable.
overall it's a good progression story with lots of political intrigue and massive amounts of world-building that was very well done.
The pauses for leveling up and stats allocation take me out of the story a little bit but that's the same for all lit RPG stories for me. The action adventure and intrigue of this story overall helped take the sting out of the leveling up breakdowns.
The narrator does a good job overall giving different voices to the characters, which can be very hard to do especially when you're doing multiple children's voices.
I am looking forward to the next installment!

Kinda slow at some points but interesting enough.

Starts great before incarnation long intro to the mc but then he incarnates and its kinda boring for a while. Somewhere past chapter 20 does he finally leaves and the world opens up and it gets interesting. Then he runs right into the family members he was told to avoid. I wonder what the next book might hold.

I really loved ❤ this book! As Dollar makes his impression on world!

It turned out that I really enjoyed Bloodline by ThinkTwice and why wouldn't I, as he's written The Mark of the Crijik series and Henry Kramer's narration is the cherry on top. At first I thought that this book was gonna be a slow burner, but soon realized that we needed the beginning so we knew who the MC, Dollar was. Where upon Dollar is Isekaied into the new world reborn as a baby (can you imagine being trapped in a baby's body with all the memories from your former life.) and having to learn to walk all over again. He didn't waist time though and by the first year he was talking if not fluently it was close and he was also trained to read and understand sidil magic. And on his second birthday his uncle hired an assassin to kill 'em of course as we already know you just can't put him down that easily!!! It wasn't until his 7th birthday that he was ready to make him move and impress the world and to stop his uncle!!! I know I was impressed and had long since been mesmerized by Dollar's story... And Wow just wait 'til you meet Bill. 😆
So with plenty of pop-cultural references throughout the book you'll absodamnlutely need to read this novel.

Really good

This was really good and entertaining but like with every long book there are ups and downs amd honestly I was surprised that dollar hasn't really tried to make money he just literally keeping the loot from defeated foes but not actively trying to make money. but other than that the story was great with some really good and interesting characters

Enjoyable if soft

I did like the MC , magic , progression world and story. All entertaining even if it feels like not a lot gets done.

My one complaint is how SOFT the MC is. like when he is attacked by bandits he makes sure to stab then in the leg or knock them out. Later fight people out to kill him, he does the same.

I really hope that his companions teach him sense and to kill his enemies. Not to just knock them out so that they can come back more prepared next time. This isnt some pg13 movie where he needs to just beat up his enemies to teach them the error of their ways. He needs to put a knife in thier throat and end their throat for good.
