I've listened to all of the Russell Blake books on audible. Each one is a delight. I love the Assassin Series and the narrator. You can't go wrong with any of russell Blake's books. He's very responsive on his website when you have questions. Definitely recommend.

Another great one

A good but predictable sequel. Familiar characters abound with a good growth to enrich their personalities. Caution, if you don’t like violence it could be a turn off.

What made the experience of listening to Blood of the Assassin the most enjoyable?

The enjoyment began with Dick Hill and continued with a really good story

What did you like best about this story?

After listening to all 5 in 5 days :) I think the first and last are the best. They both depict El Rey in a more human light.

Have you listened to any of Dick Hill’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Dick Hill is one of my absolute favorite narrators, so having him read this book is perfect (in my opinion!)

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I did that.

Any additional comments?

This is such a good series. I am already going through withdrawals because I've hit the end. I have to compliment Russell Blake, he has the ability to create feelings of empathy for a contract killer. What was nice about this book is that Blake has given his killer hero a little more of a benevolent personality, so the listener ends up cheering for the bad guy.

I hope Russell Blake is busy writing the next FEW!
