Publisher's summary

Just when 15-year-old Bobby Pendragon thinks he understands his purpose as a Traveler - to protect the territories of Halla from the evil Saint Dane - he is faced with an impossible choice. The inhabitants of Eelong are in danger of being wiped out by a mysterious plague. Only Bobby knows how to stop it, but it means bringing the antidote from another territory - Cloral. Since moving items between territories is forbidden by the Traveler rules, if Bobby chooses to save Eelong he could endanger himself, his friends, and the future of every other being in Halla.

Critic reviews

"Dufris is undaunted in his interpretation of the inhabitants of Eelong, giant cats whose disdain for humans is barely contained." ( AudioFile)

Perfect placement in series

Loved it! Lots of things unfold. Perfect book for the middle of a book series.

The ending hurts worse when it's narrated.

LOVE this series, super enjoying this narration, but man oh man did that ending HURT. I've read this series multiple times before, but have never done the audiobooks. Talk about a crushing ending. Thanks for the phenomenal story once again, Mr MacHale.

Excellent!

The next book in the Pendragon series is as captivating and wonderful as those that come before. William Dufris does a really excellent job creating character voices and putting feeling into the words of Bobby Pendragon’s fantastic story. This is an audiobook that can be listened to many times and not gotten bored of. I love the whole series, and the performances that go with it.

Can't turn it off!

I can't believe how much this series has sucked me in. From the beginning I HAD to know what happens and figure out what Saint Dane is up to. Things are getting serious after what happened on Veelox. Oh, and my heart broke during Journal #19. I gotta go start Rivers of Zadaa right now!

I kid you not...

These books just keep getting better and better. I wasn't sure The Reality Bug could be topped but I was proven wrong. This one was EPIC!

Great book in a great series.

Honestly the plot twists in this series never fail to amaze me. The end had my tearing up and I can’t help but give credit to both the author of this series and the reader did a great job with all the characters and emotions
