About this listen
Can two warlocks be too many?
Yes, if one happens to be your ex-husband trying to kill you for a witch divorce.
The other, a sexy Aussie that makes you forget all the rest.
Catherine walks in on her husband in bed with her best friend. What is a woman to do? It helps that she is a witch. Unfortunately, so is her husband. Before you can say spell battle, Catherine high tails it up the coast of California to clear her head. Lucky for her, she finds an Aussie hitchhiker. She's going to have to face her husband in the awaiting spell battle. Can she have a little fun with her newfound boy toy, or will he get scorched in the foreplay?

He was someone who belonged in my wildest fantasies instead of a rest stop in the middle of Nebraska. A sexy, cocky Australian named Chance was the last person I expected to run into on my cross-country drive. When my car broke down, we made a deal. Next thing I knew, we were traveling together, spending sexually tense nights in hotels, and taking unplanned detours. My ordinary road trip turned into the adventure of a lifetime. It was all fun and games until things got intense.

We fell in love on a beach, got married in paradise, and rode off into the sunset. It should have been perfect, but saying "I do" doesn't guarantee a happily ever after. Two years later, I barely recognize either of us behind the walls we've built. It's time to bring it full circle. Back to a tropical paradise. Back to find out if we can still make this work. One dimenion characters
This audiobook was decent, but as we all know, people have more than one characteristic. For example, the husband was bad. We found out no other traits about him other than that even though the whole series is driven by this one fact. Our main character picks up a hitchhiker as she is fleeing this bad marriage and tells the Aussie fellow about her "ex". Wait, whiplash! And then as she gets to know the guy she decides she'll let him live? Huh? I do understand that she is a witch but taking life that flippantly was so not attractive. Oh, and the. While they are in Vegas (she and hitchhiker) she meets a handsome Irishman who wants her. Yikes!
There are quite a few outlandish situations during the story and a few that were just downright funny. I will say that I enjoyed Marilyn Vix's writing style as it was witty and light.
The narrator did a good job, also.

Magic, Witches, and Warlocks.. Oh My!
Any additional comments?
** spoiler alert **
Magic, Witches, and Warlocks.. Oh My!
Catherine, the female lead, is in for the shock of her life when she witnesses her husband cheating with her best friend.
To clear her head, Catherine decides to go on a long drive..
She picks up a hitchhiker, Jeff.
Catherine likes Jeff but when she finds out he isn't a regular "human" she ditches him and goes to Las Vegas where her adventures are only just beginning.
I liked Catherine, she is a funny and strong character.
Overall, this was an entertaining read but it felt as though something was missing.
Nastasia Lacayo did really well with the narration.

Witch & Warlock divorce
Any additional comments?
Easy way to spend an afternoon. Quick, fun and a bit of sex.
Beware of Warlocks is a set of three short stories combined into one.
Catherine a Witch has just caught her husband Richard a Warlock in bed with her human best friend. She decides she is done with him and sets out on a road trip to anywhere. Catherine has several adventures with a few twists and surprises all while her husband Richard is making plans of his own.
While the stories were all entertaining and fun they could have had a bit more detail and continuity in the story line. When stories are shorter they need to stay on coarse and not bounce all over with extra fluff added. The stories were good but they had the potential to be so much better.
Nastasia Lacayo did a good job with the narration. Pleasant voice easy on the ears. Different character voices were also good. For the most part the narration was smooth and even paced. There were a couple of times the narration didn't always flow smoothly. The audio volume fluctuates occasionally. Way to long of a pause in between chapters.

One Story Three Books
This was one story spread out over three books. The narrator was good and made the story. The breaks between chapters were so long that several times i thought the book had shut down. This was not the narrators fault though. The h comes in a catches her husband in bed with her best friend. she drives away and the story twists on from there. She is a witch married to a warlock and vows to never love another warlock. She picks up a hitchhiker and sleeps with him. Then she discovers that he is a warlock also after her husband traces them down in a diner and reveals they were best friends. Well the story gets stranger from there. It is only about four hours so if you have the time to waste it on this book it is a good distraction. As I said the narrator makes the book.

Beware of Warlocks (Seriously... BEWARE!!)
~~This audiobook was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review courtesy of AudiobookBlast dot com~~
These books were short and sweet, and filled with LOADS of sex!!! They also had me suspecting every Tom, Dick, and Harry Catherine encountered thinking they were her ex trying to get her. Even though the person I suspected of being the true culprit turned out to be exactly that, I was still lulled into a sense of security and was surprised at the end. SO WATCH OUT!!!
I did find myself getting upset with Catherine though. I actually felt that she got what she deserved when she ran into trouble. While I do understand how she felt and her reasoning behind her actions, I still feel like she went about it all the wrong way. She totally said and did the wrong things!! She was so lucky Jeff was so into her. I was very happy when she finally got her head on straight and realized that what she needed was with her the entire time.
The best thing about this audiobook in my opinion was the narrator and her many accents. I thought the Irish and Aussie accents were spot on, but her British accent could use some work (lol). Still it was a good effort on her part, and a good story overall.
