About this listen

With a madman in control of the timeline, one wrong move could be the last for time travelers intent on stopping him in this mind-bending novel by the best-selling author of the CHRONOS series.

CHRONOS historians Madi, Tyson, and Katherine and their cohorts are on the enemy’s trail, fixing the mess that sociopath Saul Rand has made of history - and of the Temporal Dilemma rules. Another time shift is on the horizon, and this time, it’s one that reflects Saul’s twisted vision.

When the shift hits, it plunges the United States into a modern dark age where superstition trumps science and 17th-century witch hunts are no longer a thing of the past. But Saul has added a new hurdle to this insane reality: he’s hunting the Sisters of Prudence.

Clones of Katherine’s daughter, the Sisters are pawns to be sacrificed on Saul’s time chessboard - unless the team can track him down at the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival and erase him first. Saul is calling the shots, so he’s ahead of them every step of the way. With the clock ticking, this could be the endgame for CHRONOS and, if they fail, for reality itself.

I love the time jumping world created by Rysa Walker. From the first stories with Kate, Kiernan and Trey to Maddie, Jack and their crew the imagination and attention to detail in these stories make the entertaining and keep me coming back for more! I highly recommend both series and this book was a perfect ending

Another great Chro-nos trilogy!

I partially read this on my Kindle and partially listened to it, and did both for some sections which helped my understanding a lot. I like how everything wrapped up.

Great finale to a complex and many layered series

This book truly tests your concentration but it’s still very good. I highly recommend it if you are in to time travel.

Good story

Definitely worth the listen. Loved the historical learning mixed in with the adventure. Hope she spins off another series.

Excellent conclusion to the series

A bit slow to get started but overall a worthwhile listen. I would enjoy an update in the future on how everyone is doing.

Slow to begin but worthwhile

Firstly, i LOVE the story and the arc that Rysa Walker wrote. I love how it ties in with the original Chronos series as well as a few tie ins from Delphi trilogy.

What I’m not in love with is Eric Dove’s narration. I wish they could have just stuck with Kate Rudd or at least met up and agreed on pronunciations for words. The mismatch for Cyrist, anachronism, and Eta/Etta/Aida was a bit annoying, but relatively easy to get past.

Rysa Walker and Kate Rudd are Fantastic

Loved the series but This book was not my favorite.. I feel like it was more about the authors personal narrative rather then the story she has created.

Not my favorite. good series though.

I’ve listed to MANY of Russ Walkers books on time travel. But this one seemed particularly disjointed and difficult to follow. It was also much slower in terms of action and seemed tired. I still enjoy Russ Walker but not this book as much.

Amazing Narrators but Confusing Storyline
