About this listen
The Sol System is awash with fire and flame as the Lanaktallan discover that the millions of ships they brought are nothing more than chaff before Fortress Sol. The Immortals and the Black Fleet have joined the fight even as the Lanaktallan discover that TerraSol is like nothing they have ever encountered.
The rest of the spur is engulfed in fire and flame. Third Armor, led by Trucker, is advancing into the teeth of the enemy. First Telkan, with (now) Lieutenant Vuxten, are being blooded in their first major engagement. The dead Admiral Thennis returns on the show-bridge of the Steamboat Willy, punishing all who dare assault Sol.
Dreams of Something More has found herself on a mysterious journey, led by the mantid seer in her diplomatic team, with an unknown destination. Brentili'ik wrestles with her re-election and leading the newly freed Telkan people.
Herod and Sam, part of Legion's black box program, will discover that their parent's madness far exceeds their wildest nightmares as they begin to touch upon the truth behind the Terran SUDS.
And Great Grand Most High of Armor A'armo'o discovers the magic of memes!
Book Eight of the Behold: Humanity! series, takes the reader from Chapter 287 to Chapter 327.5 of the nearly 1,000 chapters of the series. It is largely unchanged from the original series on Reddit's HFY subreddit, mainly edited for spelling, grammar, and clarification.
There is no new material from the web-series.

The Unified Civilized Council has been assaulted by hundreds of Harvester Class Precursor Autonomous War Machines, each the size of Australia, and each bent on eliminating life in order to secure and harvest the resources of the galaxy for themselves. The only force able to stand up to the PAWM is the recently discovered Terran Confederacy of Aligned Systems. The Unified Civilized Council, which has ruled for over a hundred million years has discovered new species in the Long Dark. Strange and unknown species that seem to have no rhyme or reason about them. Compounding the problem is the reappearance of the ancient Precursor Autonomous War Machines. Even worse is the fact that the newly discovered Terran Confederacy of Aligned Systems appear to be the only force capable of stopping the murderous robotic starships, some the size of small continents. Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

In the not-too-distant future, a 21-member crew launches from Earth. Their mission: to establish a temporary colony on Mars. Little do they know that colony will become permanent–and the last stand of the human race. Because, without warning, every single person left on Earth simply...vanishes. Story
The Mad Lemurs of Terra and their allies are more than willing to stand against the PAWM forces, even as the Unified Council flees from every battle. Great story trouble AI
Ralts’ story is worth every penny. It is truly one of the best pulp scifi adventures that money can buy at the moment
However Amazon’s ham fisted text-to-speech that they call AI is awful. It has inconsistent and disjointed pronunciation. As well as terrible metering of the flow when it comes to reading. You can probably get the same result by turning on text-to-speech in kindle and save yourself a few dollars.
If you want to support the author like I do buy it so he gets some money out of it.
