Nicely Done

As a student of the Arabic language, I found this program useful for review and expansion of what I've already learned in formal university Arabic 101 class. I have bought at least half a dozen (or more) different programs to learn Arabic and this one is the second best of them. It has enough repetition but is not at all boring, and it has a nice back and forth conversational quality as you progress through it. I highly recommend it for review and to supplement a formal program of study.

Great for learning key words and phrases

I use this as additional material to my primary learning systems, Rosetta Stone and Al Kitaab. If you want only the basics of learning Arabic and don't intend to learn the writing system, then this is a good program. The reference guide is useful and I am glad they included the English transliteration. One drawback is the original program is on CD, so the material is broken up by CD tracks. If you are using the computer or an MP3 player, you might want to bookmark the tracks. By the way, Pimsleur is also a good listening program but it is more expensive.
