A practical guide for nurturing our bodies as we age

Balance for Seniors takes a candid look at the natural challenges to our physical fitness, balance and well being as we age. It offers practical, accessible exercises and behavioral changes to help us move gracefully and confidently through our senior years. Especially useful are the detailed exercise guides. I loved the author’s warm , encouraging tone that supported movement that is healthy, safe and easily woven into our daily lives, incorporating movement into our every lives as we wait in lines, take a break from desk work or even stretch as we wake up in the morning.

Susie Vanderlip’s message is spot on! If we just MOVE every day, in ways that enhance our flexibility, balance and strength, we will enjoy mobility in our latter years. This is an inspiring book filled with practical and empowering science-backed advice to help seniors not just survive, but thrive through the aging process!

Great audible, so inspiring & informative. Get it!

As a senior in my mid sixties, I enjoyed listening to this audiobook. It provides so many useful techniques and examples on how you can improve your balance and flexibility to prevent injuries by doing one simple thing. Keep moving! The move method encompasses many things you can do in your daily routine that can be life changing. In short, learn from what hear and see, and make it your lifestyle. Believe me I know. I'm one of Susie's Zumba Gold and Yoga students. She is showing me in real-time, the many ways and techniques to improve core strength, balance and flexibility, and to become more agile, possibly preventing falls and injuries. Thank you Susie, for empowering me with this knowledge. Do yourself a favor and get this audible.
