Maurice Klein speaks with Joanne Levy, President of the Sassoon Yehuda Synagogue which is an Orthodox Sephardi Synagogue and Community centre, with a diverse membership from the Middle East, India, Africa and Asia, providing a warm inviting spiritual home for all Jews irrespective of their observance. Joanne, tells us about the new Sephardi Museum in the synagogue, which no doubt will further foster a sense of pride within the Sephardi community, exhibiting their heritage to their community, visitors, schools, plus honouring the past community. The Sephardi Association of Victoria was established in 1965 and will be celebrating its 60th throughout the year, culminating with a major event in November.
