Publisher's summary

Traumatized by her past and struggling to move on from it, Sera has spent the past three years of college hiding herself from the world and content to stay that way. A chance encounter with Liam shatters her sheltered world, leaving her stunned and shaken by the strange feelings and emotions he arouses in her, feelings she never thought she would experience and that frighten her in their intensity.

Harboring a dark and deadly secret of his own, Liam knows that he should stay away from Sera, that he will only bring her more hurt, but he is irresistibly drawn to her and unable to deny himself the pleasure that only she can bring to him. But when their pasts collide with their present, and Liam's true nature is revealed, will their love for each other be enough, or will they be torn apart forever?

Horrible narrator

Any additional comments?

Couldnt even make it 5 minutes into this book, the narrator talks x2 of any normal person and its difficult to keep on.

Awesome to read and even better to listen to

I'd already read the book myself and I loved it. The book was even more amazing to listen too. I especially loved the sneak peak into the next book in the series 😄

I was on the edge on my seat!

This was a great story that kept my attention throughout! I normally fall asleep to audio books, but I was so into the story, I stayed up all night and was late to work the next morning!

I don’t like to give anything away in books. I really enjoyed thank you!!

Okay

It was okay but will never be in my favorites. There are some good parts that keeps the reader on the edge of the seat and then other parts that drag on.

My favorite narrator

I just love T.Gilbert. She really brings stories to life. I enjoyed the story very much. But and I hate to say it but it almost has a twilight feel to it only a lot steamier. Ethan is drawn to Sara he doesn't know why can't stay away. Has to have her be with her. You get where I'm going. But it was still an enjoyable story and tavia really makes awesome to listen to.

a great paranormal, YA, youthful angst tale

This is my first venture into paranormal romance, and it was a good start. The tale starts the last half of senior year in college for Sera, who in spite of her roommates attempts, has shunned all dating requests, and barely even partied her entire time there, focusing instead on studies and good grades. Kathleen, Sera’s roommate and friend, drags Sera to a fraternity party where she is mysteriously drawn towards Liam. Liam surrounded by a bevy of beautiful coeds seems to notice her and takes interest as well. The rest of the story evolves around these two, their closest friends, (some not so much) and how to keep desires, secrets, and ensuing troubles at bay. The author does a wonderful job of seducing the reader into the story with her in depth character development and descriptive storyline. The outstanding narration takes the tale to another level. While I am not sure if I will continue this saga the little teaser does show further tales have promise.

Meh

Plot was great, the narrator OK except toward the end doing the MMC. Although he is battling his demons and there is a simmering rage trying to be controlled he just sounded mad. Some of the character development was lacking especially with the MFC. She was wishy washy. MMC was a bit better. I liked some of the side characters. Glad it was free.

Surprise! This was a good story.

Now, this book really surprised me. I thought it was going to be just as the rest of the Vampire books. But, it was good. This could be due to Tavia Gilbert. She is really good. But, I think it was a combination of Ms. Gilbert and Brenda K Davies. Great job. Oh, just get the book and you will see.
