Publisher's summary

A daring dungeon rescue. A witch who won’t stop until she gets what she wants. A quest for revenge.

Time has run out.

After another successful defense of my city, with the help of my newly acquired army, optimism is growing.

I’ve even agreed to proceed with the annual fairy ball.

Everyone knows that peace is temporary, but we’ll be ready for whatever may come our way.

The Council has recruited forces across every sanctuary in the world to fight against Stonefield and their new leader will not stop until he destroys us on his quest for revenge.

A quest that directly involves my past.

Our defenses are stronger than ever, but there’s someone who poses an even larger danger than the approaching army.

She’s already proven she can’t be trusted.

The thrilling conclusion is here.

Time to see if the Caretaker’s Collection can rise to the challenge.

great addition

I really loved this book and the series. I think the premise was interesting and fun. there's a lot of characters to love in this series and they were all well written. the mc was likable and a pretty regular person which is rare in this genre. I liked the card based powers also. the narration was great, it's hard to beat hazel and christian. sad this series ended but looking forward to more of the authors work.

I highly recommend you check this out

I've got a special fondness in my heart for trilogies. A one off book is almost never enough story for me. Sometimes a series hangs around well past its prime. A trilogy is kind of the Goldilocks area. I usually won't leave a review unless the story is something extra special. This one first caught my attention for its unique elements. The narration team is easily in my top three favorites of all time. The performance was a knockout. I'm not going to say anything about the last book of this trilogy as I don't want to risk spoiling anything. I used to put my review from the first book of the trilogy below for anybody who had just stumbled across the story, but unfortunately Amazon's been a little weird as of late about reviews from people who have lucked into a free audio code for the story. Definitely look for my review from book one if you want to know more about story. If your looking for more from the author, he has a Patreon with the standard fare. Also, I recommend "Bonded Spirits: The Complete Series" performed by the same awesome narrations team as this story. That just leaves a message from me to everybody who had a hand in bringing this story to us, the audiobook listeners. well done all around and I think you'll deserve a round of applause.

Another great book by Jake Daniel. You will not be disappointed. Also the dual narration really brings the story to life. I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

couldn't finish.

It just got worse and worse until I had to stop. Everything kind of redeeming about the story couldn't keep up with outhouse the story turned into. I will fi d it difficult to give the author another shot.
