Publisher's summary

I don’t need God…or do I?

Kendra Von Esh was a corporate executive who had it all - high powered job, prestige, summer home, and fantastic family, friends, and social life. She didn’t need God, nor did she have time for him.

When she decided to get in shape and “cleanse” her body, she realized that she sorely lacked in the “spirituality” department.

She thought about going back to the Catholic Church but was conflicted because she didn’t know much about the faith. She wasn’t going to church at all, didn’t agree with most of its teachings, and certainly wasn’t ready to change her lifestyle.

But she decided to go anyway and what she found changed her life forever....

Join Kendra as she recounts the struggles, triumphs, and “God-incidences” that paved her way from the back pew to a state of grace, peace, and joy that can only come from the Catholic Church and a personal relationship with God.

Preaching to the Choir

I loved this book I felt Kendra was telling me my life in some ways. I like how she says God comes to us where we are. My Journey started 6 years ago so I can relate to Kendra in many ways.
Thank you for such a real book

Good, but looking for more

This was a good story, and I enjoyed Kendra’s performance. I was hoping for more of an explanation of how she overcame some whet reservations about the Catholic faith, as that is where I am standing right now. She mentioned many of the same reservations I have, but it seems through what the books tells us that she just swept those aside because she loved Jesus and wanted to do what he says. I guess maybe I’m too much of a thinker/analyst to just get over those things. I did enjoy the story, but I didn’t feel like this was super helpful to those who are on the fence about their faith. It seems to be more of a story to appease those who are firm in their Catholic faith.

Kendra, you rock girl.

I have known since I was a little girl in still in grade school, that I felt very proud to be Catholic. I loved blessing myself even though I didn't really know what it meant at that young age , other than it was just something catholics did.I have never been ashamed to bless myself and public, but man was I awful At Defending the faith. Thank you so much for all the information that has helped me understand why I have always felt so proud. What we have is so wonderful, it is almost unbelievable. I would just love to meet you one Day if your endeavors ever take you to North Florida. Angie Smith
