A REALLY GOOD READ

I enjoy both animal stories and thrillers. This novel by Kenneth Decroo is both. He uses his knowledge of the great apes, the Washoe project and the varied locales to weave a compelling and exciting tale of nonhuman intelligence, loyalty and betrayal. I look forward to the next book in the series and the one planned to follow it. I haven't derived this much enjoyment from this genre since finishing all of the current novels in Michael C. Grumely's "Breakthrough" series.
