About this listen

After his success discovering and then shutting down several of the djevel's hidden smuggling operations, Troy finds himself and his new wives being sent out to help his "uncle" Steve, his father's best friend, with his presidential campaign.

While Troy appreciates the promotion, especially now that he can no longer work as a scout because he's married, he's not exactly sure what skills he has that Steve will find useful.

As he's submerged into the morass known as Washington D.C. and brought on board to help, Troy discovers that Steve does have a use for his skills and the skills of his wives. Between providing additional security, learning how to keep the supporters happy, and building family bonds with his wives, Troy starts to uncover some of the things that happen out of sight during a campaign: the dirty tricks and other shenanigans.

When someone stages an assassination and kidnapping attempt on Steve and two of Troy's brother's wives, Troy is bound and determined to find out just who is to blame and make them pay—as well as punish whoever is footing the bill.

Great Story

This is a continuation story of the adventures of the children of Sean Valen’s from the Valen’s Legacy stories.

This focused mostly on Troy and his wives helping Steve and HIS wives on the campaign trail for presidency.

Death/mayhem/adventure/bedroom antics/compassion. This book has it all.

It’s fun to see Troy growing up and coming into his own as a responsible adult.

It was a nice twist that he took Penny under his wing in a way that will let her soar.

Will be fun to see how that comes to play in future books.

The narrators are great in this. They do a great job playing off of each other and making you believe they recorded this in the same room when it’s more likely they did not.

I do recommend it

I really have enjoyed everything valence. it was a great series and I like that we're now following what's going on with the kids. this one has his back with Troy and then we've got two more for Mike. can't wait for them to get the audio treatment. the narration team is one of my all-time favorites and I've never seen them do less than a fantastic performance. this entry was a little bit more brutal especially with the female character suffering from the mind leech. I'm very interested to see where the story goes in the long run and whether or not we're ever going to get another Junior story. sounds like the author is going to step away from the series for a little bit to kind of refresh his creative juices. he hinted that there might have been some problems in his life or centered around his work that has left them in a position where he needs the kind of recharge. that being said the next book is already in the hands of the editors who are apparently a little swamped at the moment but it should be dropping an ebook form in theory any week now. so lastly I'll simply say Well done all around and keep up the good work.

Poorly structured

No clear plot structure. Extra actions that don’t work toward climax. Repeat of other books.

I'm going to Troyland!!

Wow, just... wow! Another great story. There's not been a bad one yet. Great plot and character development. The by play between characters is excellent and I love the humorous movie, TV and literary references through out the series.

Another great heritage book

Narrator was great as always.

More on the life and love of Troy and his wives. Will admit it is following the leap frog effect like the rest of the Heritage books. A little more than half of this book is covering Troy's perspective of the last Mihalis book. But as always by the end you are saying "I WANT MORE!" and will have to wait.... it did just come out today...
