Great book. I've been seeing success in my life since I started. So, the first night I decided to practice positive affirmations about being loveable and desirable. Well. The next day, at the grocery store, a man stopped and gasped at me. I look over to him, and he was looking at me. He stumbled an apology so genuine it made me smile, and then said "You're beautiful." This does not usually happen to me! So anyways, that was cool.

Since reading, I've just felt this positive energy flowing through me every day. Every time I get down, instead of wallowing in negative feelings, I shift my mindset to positive thoughts, and generate a positive feeling. I focus on what I know in my heart is true (not mean things other say), and what I want in my life (not what I don't have). Very excited about learning this technique.

I think one of the keys to using LoA is to accept where you are right now. Complete acceptance and joy for what is. Find your gratitude! Also, it's important that you process your negative feelings - don't just pivot and turn to positive right away. Make sure you acknowledge and feel the negative feeling for a little bit, or until you feel ready. However, don't FEED your negative feeling with negative thoughts - this is a common pitfall I think, and one I have been guilty of. If you don't feed it, it will pass sooner. If you don't let yourself feel it at all, however, you risk suppressing it and having a low level of that feeling in the background for a longer time.
