About this listen
For 400 years he was lost to her, but he is hers tonight...
From their first tantalizing touch, Jasmine knows he is different. What other lover could unlock her tight control, flood Vampire senses jaded by a lifetime of decadent self-indulgence? Centuries ago, when he disappeared without a trace, she had given up hope of ever fulfilling the promise of incomparable passion. But here he is, against the very laws of nature, ready to bring down their most vicious enemy, ready to bring her blood to the boiling point...if she will only let him.

The unexpected happens in an instant. On her way to work, secretary Docia Waverley hurtles into a crashing crossroads, and she quickly begins to suspect that things will never be the same. Then, when a tall, blond, muscular stranger intervenes on her behalf, telling her it is his duty to protect her at all cost, what is just a feeling turns to proof positive. That is, as long as Docia's savior doesn't turn out to be a crazed kidnapper.... When Ram finds Docia, he has no doubt that she is his queen.

Story
Among the Shadowdwellers, Trace holds power that some are willing to kill for. Without a stranger's aid, one rival would surely have succeeded, but Trace's brush with death is less surprising to him than his reaction to the beautiful, fragile human who heals him. By rights, Trace should hardly even register Ashla's existence within the realm of Shadowscape, but instead he is drawn to everything about her-her innocence, her courage, and her lush, sensual heat.

I want to be grateful, but the shifters turn out to be assholes as well, especially Jared, the Alpha Heir and apparently my fated mate. He’s chosen another, a powerful shifter princess, over a nobody like me. Even worse? He claims I’m a spy for the vampires and drags me to the fortified Shifter City. After dumping me at a shifter military academy, he thinks he can forget about me. Only he underestimates his hot and heavy lust for me.

Totally Worth It!
I am going to try to be really careful not to give out any spoilers so those that haven’t been able to get your copy will still have the thrill of discovery on this book. I purposely refused to read any other reviews. I didn’t even read the blurb ‘about this book’ because I wanted to be surprised!
[Begin Gush] Wow. I totally loved this book. [End Gush]
This is the sixth book in the Nightwalker series. I highly recommend listening to them in order. Jacquelyn Frank has developed many of the characters throughout the series. You learn a little here and a little there about each one. Also, the plot thickened with each new additional book. Reading Adam first would be like skipping to the back of the book to find out what happens at the end.
This was the perfect way to end the series…almost. I was so excited to realize that Adam would make an appearance in this book and that Jasmin was going to ‘almost’ have her own book. Adam was perfectly melded into the story and it all made perfect sense.
When the story first started out, I had gasped in horror over the first several chapters. I kept thinking, no way … but Jacquelyn Frank had a bit of a suspense thing going on with this book and she drew it out very nicely.
There were several things that happened in this book that are still a mystery, so I wonder …. Children of the Nightwalker series??
The Narration Review
This book was narrated by Xe Sands. Xe has narrated all the books in the nightwalker series. She once again held me captive with her enticing narrative and whole array of character voices and accents. If Xe Sands was chocolate, she would be rich decadent chocolates. :-)

Oh my~
And I almost didn't download this one bc Jasmine didn't sound like a fun person to listen to and boy was I wrong. that prologue (don't want to spoil anything) blow me away and made my heart clench. I was so glad when it shifted back to "normal." The only downside I would say of this book was how short it was and it didn't have enough of Adam and Jasmine. As much as I love the others in the series, there wasn't enough of Adam a d Jasmine when this was their one book. Overall, I enjoyed it~

Amazing!
What can i say, I LOVE this series and the book only left me longing for me. I am so hpeing that Jacquelyn Frank decides to write a book about the Nightwalker children that we've become attached to in this book. I would love to see what happened to them.
I love the ending (especially what happened to Ruth) and honestly, one of my favorites in the series!

Wow doesn't even cover it!
Let me just say, right now the first three chapters of this book, almost gave me a heart attack... I have never been so emotionally into a book series as much as Nightwalkers and ADAM does not disappoint. I cried, seriously cried after the first plot point. I had to stop, and skip to the end, because I just couldn't fathom reading after the first plot point. Yes, I know I broke all codes of book reading/listening by skipping but this book is so good in the first three chapters, I had to do it. Once I discovered the world did not end and there was still oxygen for me to breathe, I continued after chapter 3 and it just got better and better. Every character, their issue finally came to a head, and Frank just answered every question. Frank really brought everything from the previous books to full circle, the prophecy and everything else. I believe she even left room for Nightwalker kids, because we are still missing one element. Read it and you will know what I am talking about. Great way to end a great series. Jacob is my all time fave of these books, and for Adam to end it was perfect. Read it and you will know what I am talking about.
O I have to say this, The way Frank brought the prophecy to life! Amazing... absolutely amazing! Ignore all the typos, because I just finish listening and had to write the review right away... I just couldn't wait! This series made me realize I give 5 stars too easily. I have went back and re-reviewed all my other books, because this series and fifty shades are the only 5 stars I have listen to so far.
Xe Sand was great. Best narrator I have heard so far, and I listen to a lot of books! She actually is better than Becca Batto, to me and that is saying something...

I love Jacquelyn Frank.
Would you listen to Adam again? Why?
Yes, and I have. It is a great story and funny too.
What other book might you compare Adam to and why?
All her books I have read in this group of Nightwalkers Series is the best.
What does Xe Sands bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
She is great and plays all the parts very well. I think I like her best out of all the women I have heard read so far.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The very beginning took me by suprise and made me cry to think that 2 of my favorite people died. I could see them risking everything for their family and I would probably do the same. It was really good and sad at the same time.
Any additional comments?
Please make more and don't stop. I love this group of Nightwalkers and think you can re-visit them again in other stories as well.

Absolutely, must read the whole series, I need more...Jacquelyn Frank get on that ;-)
What was one of the most memorable moments of Adam?
The begining when Leah had to invoke her powers to change fate.
What does Xe Sands bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Her voices are amazing, you always know who is talking, she really brings the characters to life. I think she could make listening to the dictionary interesting. I am very impressed.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes! I was mad when I have to pause the story just to anwser my phone.
Any additional comments?
This is my new favorite series, I need another book to come out, nightwalkers are very much an addiction. Not looking forward to the withdrawls. I am going to listen to them over again to get my fix.

Great!
I have liked all the books in this series - but as we all know, the more books in a series, the harder it is to make each characters story different. This book has some twists that make it much more interesting than I was expecting. As always Xe Sands does a great
job as narrator. Well worth your credit.

Great story, but WHAT HAPPENED TO SETH AND LEAH?
I need a follow up story!! I hated Jasmine up until this book. Even now her attitude towards love isn't confirmed in this book. Why didn't she perform the vampire ceremony with Adam? Great book. Adam was an amazing character!! He deserved a better love story.

I am writing this review on the whole series, not just this book. I want to cry that it’s over. This was such a good series, I’m sad that it’s over. You have to start with the first book, because the plot is enveloped in the entire series, not just one book. It made me laugh, and cry and saw awww. I hope she does another series with the children. Xe Sands is by far the best narrator I’ve ever heard. She nails all the voices and I was able to differentiate between all the characters, even when you’re not sure who’s speaking. I would recommend this series to anyone who likes fantasy and romance and just a really good story.
