About this listen

The legend of Tal Harrenfel has reached its final verse.

But though Tal has embraced his gifts, and Garin has discovered his own, their greatest trials lie ahead.

Tal, Garin, and their companions begin their approach to Ikvaldar, the mountain atop which the immortal sorcerer Yuldor waits. Before they can challenge Yuldor for the Worldheart, however, they must first overcome Ikvaldar's formidable defenses.

Their quest will carry them into the heart of enemy territory. There, they will encounter their deadliest foe yet, one who may eclipse even Tal's towering potential.

The last battle is near. The legend is at its end. For Tal and Garin to remake the world, it will require sacrifice beyond their imagining...

A God's Plea is the final instalment in The Legend of Tal series.

I read all 4 books in the Legend of Tall series and I am hoping for a book 5! (And here I am a historical fiction fan turned fantasy!). Great story and characters, never a dull moment, held your intersest, you won't be disappointed!

Legend of Tal books are all great. Always unexpected but logical turns.
If you love LOTR will love this.

My favorite character is OBL (I mean Bran)!

Unbelievable immersion into fantasy. Didn’t want to stop listening. All emotions on alert throughout. Well worth taking the journey all the way through books 1-4.

Found this in my free book section and gave it try, 1 & 2 were pretty good but 3 felt a little side tracked but the ending has got to be one of the best endings I have ever read…bring a tissue tho!

Amazing ending to a very good read!

Once again, Tal struggles with his destiny, his sense of guilt, and feelings of inadequacy. Yet, he continues to battle demons and gods, searching for peace and serenity. Again, Derek Perkins is a great narrator.

Book 4 of the Legend of Tal does not disappoint

There are few things more disappointing than taking on a book series, being immersed in it's story, only to have it come to a less than satisfactory end. Well for my part, J.D.L.Rosell did not disappoint with A God's Plea. I pass on a big thank you to the author for composing such an exciting, emotional and wonderful finale for the Legend of Tal series and to his bard, Derek Perkins, for a brilliant performance!

Bravo!

SPOILER! Sort of...

It was a very good ending, but that epilogue was truly the best icing for the cake! Hehe, Pim*....and once the doubter, and yet maybe not so ironic that his goal included serving Yuldur too.

* Listening to a book can make for some bad spelling of character names. Though I did look to the WIKI (new!) for Inanis' other used name, no luck so a la Monty Python went with calling him....Pim?

A most satisfying series!
