This is a small collection of compelling poetry written by Candy Ann. With the writings that capture the animosity, love, optimism, darkness, and deep depression; from her early teenage years filled with drugs, hatred, misery, and fear.

Debut poet and devout Christian Kilgore attests that although he penned the poems in his ecclesiastic collection, “God is the true author,” and that the purpose of his poetry is to “bind hearts back to God” so that his listeners may find their own connection to Christ. After the loss of my wife, Michele, in April of 2020 (we were together for fifty-six years), my heartache overwhelmed me. While in a hospice therapy session, I learned one method of healing was to write poetry and to date each one to show the progression of your healing. These poems are a result of that. Obsession Depression and Madness goes deep into the psychosis of a man who lives with schizophrenia. It deals with the obsessive thinking that results from having delusions of persecution.
