Forest Myths

Stanley, a very young dragon, has run away from home. He feels that he is a failure. As dragons go, he probably is. He's kind, soft spoken, a good friend and can't for the life of him, breathe FIRE! The story is full of wonderful characters. A lady bug, named Persnickety is Stanley's best friend and side kick. Emma, a young girl who lives on a farm and plays in the forest, with her friends. The loveable villain is a raven named City Slick, the Third. Thomas, the pedantic, sea turtle, and Cheets, the elf, are just a few of Stanley's new friends.

Un día aterriza en el blanco del Bosque Furioso una tetera pequeña. Los asombrados animales descubren que en este medio de transporte acaba de llegar a su bosque una pequeña hada traviesa que frunce las cejas y está super enfadada. Enseguida se dan cuenta que se diferencia mucho de otras hadas, ya que «arma jaleo, alborota, grita, malcría a los jóvenes y dice muchas palabrotas». Pero no pueden ni imaginarse de qué manera su llegada cambiará sus vidas.

Questa favola, tratta dai "Racconti delle Fate" che Collodi ha tradotto dal francese, è poco conosciuta, ma molto bella, lunga e avventurosa. Il racconto, assieme a "La Gatta Bianca" e "La bella dai Capelli D'Oro", è stato originariamente scritto da Madame d'Aulnoy. Il titolo originale proposto nella traduzione di Collodi è "La Cervia Bianca".

This set of four short stories focuses on important moral lessons. In The Farmer's Bad Habit, the story tells about the consequences of stealing, even if it's just a small amount. The moral of the story is that it's always better to earn a living in an honest way, and dishonesty will only lead to disappointment and regret.
