  • Dan has one really big tale that is beyond captivating and unsettling. It's hard to say more without ruining the story. Then, Lynze brings us three stories this week. Her first is a about a possible encounter with a BEK, kind of. Less of a child and more of an adult. Maybe. Then, did a young boy see the infamous Hat Man or was it someone else? Lastly, fearing things that come out from under our bed is a classic horror trope. But what if you DID see something under your bed??!!

    Opening Sumerian protection spell (adapted):

"Whether thou art a ghost that hath come from the earth, or a phantom of night that hath no home… or one that lieth dead in the desert… or a ghost unburied… or a demon or a ghoul… Whatever thou be until thou art removed… thou shalt find here no water to drink… Thou shalt not stretch forth thy hand to our own… Into our house enter thou not. Through our fence, breakthrough thou not… we are protected though we may be frightened. Our life you may not steal, though we may feel SCARED TO DEATH."

Stories All Sound the Same, Sex-Obsessed and Missing Scares

I loved this podcast. Now all the stories sound like Dan's fake stories, and they all seem to have unnecessary, gross details about the female characters' bodies and the salacious, creepy-ass thoughts of the male characters that I'm 1000% were not in the original telling.

Dan's stories are all uncomfortable to listen to now, and all sound the same. Gross and weird. No spooks, just sex. So disappointing.
