Mohler on Dispensationalism

This podcast is an excellent response to Al Mohler’s recently published view on dispensationalism. As is common with most critics of dispensationalism, Mohler demonstrated a profound lack of knowledge of the position he presumes to attack. Bookman and Gaemon show how, rather than being a system imposed upon the Bible, dispensationalism is fundamentally a review of progressive revelation (how God gave us the Scriptures from start to finish). It is a straight-forward reading of the meaning of Scripture without imposing a theological system on the Bible. Reading the Bible through the lens of a confession is indeed like a scientist reading a microscope through the lens of a bug!
