What Lurks in Your Shadows

  • Resumen

  • Welcome to another episode of the Soul LED Duo Podcast, where we dive into all things deep, messy, and transformative. In this episode, I’m getting real about shadow work—yes, that uncomfortable, awkward, and sometimes downright scary journey we all need to take to heal.

Now, don't worry. I'm not just talking theory here. I’m sharing a personal story about a time when I had to face some deep, dark stuff from my past (hello, past life trauma!) and how I had to dig into it kicking and screaming... okay, maybe not that dramatically, but you get the vibe.

    What to Expect:

    • Shadow Work is Messy (But Totally Worth It): Spoiler alert: Shadow work is not a walk in the park. It’s messy, uncomfortable, and maybe even a little gross. But trust me, it’s totally worth it. I’ll tell you why you’ve got to lean into the mess instead of running away from it (even when you REALLY want to).

    • My Own Shadow Work Journey: From doing some crazy soul-level healing (yep, past life regressions, the whole thing) to facing some traumatic memories, I’m sharing the stuff I’ve worked through—and why it’s all connected to patterns that keep showing up in my life. Fun, right? Not always. But totally necessary.

    • Not Ready to Face the Shadows? Here’s Why: You know that feeling when you’re not quite ready to face something? Yeah, I’ve been there. My subconscious loves to hide things from me until I’m ready to actually deal with it. Sometimes the universe hands you lessons before you’re emotionally prepared... but we work through it anyway!

    • Soul Contracts & Healing (Because Why Not?): Here’s the thing about soul contracts—whether we like it or not, we’ve all signed up to show up in each other’s lives for specific reasons. If you’re in my life, it’s probably because you’ve got some work to do (whether that’s me triggering you, or you triggering me—it’s all part of the plan). Let’s unpack that, shall we?

    • Shadow Work 101 (A.K.A. How to Actually Start): Think of shadow work like cleaning your closet—first, you need to dump everything out to see what you've been hiding in there. Only then can you start sorting and clearing out the junk that no longer serves you. Yup, it's that messy. But it’s also totally necessary.

    • Why You’ve Got to Keep Going: Here’s the best part: it might suck now, but on the other side of all that discomfort, there’s light. I promise you. Keep going, and you’ll be basking in that glorious sunshine. So, when things get tough, I’m here to remind you—lean in, baby.
