The Shah of Iran in a Power Shower

  • Resumen

  • In the fifth episode of The Rabbit Hole Detectives, Cat, Richard and Charles investigate three more subjects on their magical mystery tour of stuff. As usual the trio end up all over the map as they chase the provenance of historical objects both real and metaphorical.  Don't forget to write a review, as well as leaving us your ideas for possible rabbit holes you'd like the team to fall down in series two.  Learn more about your ad choices. GREAT fun for history and trvia buffs

The entire Rabbit Hole Detective series represents a pleasant diversion from heavy-duty work, books, history tomes....well, ANYTHING. Each episode runs to about one hour, and each of the three presenters takes an indepth look at some facet of history or daily life. There is terrific humor....my only qualm is occasionally the British accent comes so fast and furiously that it is a bit hard to follow. I cannot wait for each week's new podcast. AND, the Rabbit Hole detectives want suggestions for future dives down rabbit holes. How about a searching, searing look at the martini? Or maybe, for a historical "Can you believe this?", a discussion of Mitsuo Fuchida? Talk about history's strange turns...just look at Mr. Fuchida.
