  • Malvern Prep Great Keith Maguire

    On today's episode, the guys are back to their series of sitting with some Delco greats and today is no different as they welcome Malvern Prep Future Hall of Famer and Clemson Tiger, Keith Maguire.

    Maguire is a former standout athlete from Malvern Prep, where he excelled as both a linebacker and a wide receiver, earning co-MVP honors in the Inter-Ac League. Maguire's senior season was particularly impressive; he contributed to Malvern Prep's first-ever 11-0 record, scoring 14 touchdowns—including seven rushing, five receiving, and two interception returns. His remarkable one-handed touchdown catch against Haverford School gained national attention, appearing on ESPN's SportsCenter Top 10 plays at #2.
    After high school, Maguire continued his football career at Clemson University playing linebacker where he appeared in 41 games over four seasons, recording 64 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, and one interception.

  • Philadelphia Basketball Legend Fran Dunphy
    May 13 2025

    On this episode, the guys are honored to sit with a distinguished figure in Philadelphia college basketball, known for his leadership at the University of Pennsylvania, Temple University, and La Salle University.

    Born in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, Dunphy played basketball at La Salle University before embarking on a coaching career that spanned over five decades. He began his head coaching tenure at Penn in 1989, where he secured 10 Ivy League titles and led the team to nine NCAA Tournament appearances over 17 seasons.​

    In 2006, Dunphy transitioned to Temple University, becoming the first coach to lead two different Big 5 programs. At Temple, he amassed 270 wins, guided the Owls to eight NCAA Tournaments, and clinched four conference titles, including three Atlantic 10 championships and one American Athletic Conference title. Dunphy returned to La Salle in 2022, his alma mater, to serve as head coach, continuing his legacy in the Big 5. He announced his retirement at the end of the 2024–25 season, concluding a remarkable coaching career with a record of 611–361.​

    Coach Dunph was inducted into the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame in 2019 and received the Gene Bartow Award for his contributions to the game. His coaching tree includes notable figures such as Steve Donahue, Aaron McKie, and Jerome Allen.
