Dr. Allison Arch, a neurologist with Providence Medical Associates at Little Company of Mary in Torrance, California, joins host Jennifer Semenza to discuss ways to minimize the risk of having a stroke. Regular checkups with a primary care doctor are crucial, especially for older adults, to monitor and control risk factors. Maintaining a healthy diet, staying active, and managing stress are all important.
