Many truths shared

As an autistic adult, I have analyzed the responses of others after they learn that I am autistic. Their responses have been very interesting and informative. Most notably, their behavior changes after learning that I am neurodivergent. I can be treated as ‘less than,’ despite the fact that my previous suggestions were welcomed and seemingly appreciated. I find that remarkable.
Thank you for sharing your insights via this podcast. It would be nice to hear a group of neurodivergents discussing this topic together as they feel comfortable and compelled to do so.
I used to mask/mimic others in order to fit into the work force. They had no idea that I was autistic and that helped me to survive. I’m tired of hiding that part of myself. We have value, each and every one of us.
