Re: Clarification on the Marsh’s crematory scandal.

As always, great episode! I know you two are avid listeners of OBITCHUARY Podcast and Spencer and Maddison did an episode where that specific crematorium was featured in a coffin-spinner. Mr.Marsh was not licensed/certified to run a retort and neither was his father (the original owner). He ALLEGEDLY didn’t know how to work the retort properly or maintain it for safety standards. He just kept taking bodies because he didn’t want to admit he was in over his head so he consequently displaced the incoming bodies and tried hiding them to keep up the illusion. He was only found out when a propane delivery man came to service the location and saw a mass covered by a tarp that had a body peeking out from the edge of the tarp. He called it in and nobody came out to investigate and it wasn’t until the second time the man called it in that action was taken by local authorities to investigate the claim.
