"Why the fascination with true crime?"

I liked what was said in the podcast when they got to the discussion about why there is such a fascination with True Crime these days. And I should clarify the acknowledgment that the fascination with True Crime has been around for sometime.

One reason they didn't mention is the fact that as the world gets more chaotic some people like to know that there is a group of people out there making sure to catch those causing the chaos. That there are skilled individuals that can look through the minutiae and find that one piece that leads to another that leads to another that eventually takes that individual out of the public and in a way restores peace to the individual heart and the clevis soul of the world around us.
