And another interview gets cut off...
Revisado: 11-24-22
Yup, once again commercials have been inserted into a past recording with a set amount of recorded time and the retired agent being interviewed is cut off.
To the producer.....Seriously, if you're going to get into the recording and add commercials the least you can do is get rid of the long winded front end intro so that we can truly hear the entire interview.

Another Episode Cut Short
Revisado: 11-20-22
This another episode where the guest agent's comments are cut off at the very end because the added commercials extended the playback beyond the recorded time of the of the podcast.

Added Commercial Cut Off the End
Revisado: 11-17-22
The Host committed to a no commercials podcast at the beginning and about late summer of 2022 changed that. Not only are there commercials in the current episodes but the host has gone back and added commercials to previous episodes. Commercials are added but the recording time is not extended. As a result, many of these previous episodes were commercials were added after the fact ...the last minute or two of the agents comments are cut off. This episode ends abruptly before the retired agent has a chance to share their quote unquote final word.
It's the commercials that end of getting the final word on the ultimate content of the podcast.

"Why the fascination with true crime?"
Revisado: 10-22-22
I liked what was said in the podcast when they got to the discussion about why there is such a fascination with True Crime these days. And I should clarify the acknowledgment that the fascination with True Crime has been around for sometime.
One reason they didn't mention is the fact that as the world gets more chaotic some people like to know that there is a group of people out there making sure to catch those causing the chaos. That there are skilled individuals that can look through the minutiae and find that one piece that leads to another that leads to another that eventually takes that individual out of the public and in a way restores peace to the individual heart and the clevis soul of the world around us.

In 1 min 40 seconds the f-word was used 3 times. I prefer listening to podcasts in which the hosts demonstrate a more comprehensive vocabulary!

Brand New Podcast
Revisado: 09-02-22
Interesting story that was known much outside of the NY/DC area.
Being the first podcast, the podcasts seemed a little nervous but who wouldn't be?!
My only suggestion is for the Podcaster...a good quality headset may help elevate the need to project your voice as much- maybe allow for a more natural communicative manner.
I'm going to keep listening through Audible

Historia
When people think of rebellion, they often think of guerilla warfare, rousing speeches and protests. But what about books? When the Russian Empire sought to "Russify" much of what is now Lithuania, the Tsar's forces waged a war against culture, forcing children to learn a Cyrillic alphabet -- and even banning the pre-existing Lithuanian alphabet from printing presses. Native Lithuanians from all walks of life responded by becoming knygnešiaĩ, or book carriers. Tune in to learn how this vast smuggling ring preserved the Lithuanian alphabet, and eventually won the war for a country's hearts ...

Check out the book How the Irish Saved Civilizatio
Revisado: 07-02-22
the premise of the story is that the Irish saved books or copied the content of books at times of course translating but all of that was preserved because other world powers did not feel that Ireland was worth invading and therefore their libraries were not destroyed
