  • Indiscretion DS9 Season 4, Episode 4
    Jul 7 2025

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Season 4 Episode 4 "Indiscretion" explained. Join me as I review and recap the episode where Kira goes off with Dukat looking for a ship she knew about before the show started, because it had a friend she knew before the show started on it. And turns out that friend I care nothing about is in fact dead when they find the wreckage of the ship. But the real story kicks in when we learn Dukat had a mistress and a daughter on that ship. The mistress died but his illegitimate daughter survived, so in order to save his career he wants to kill his own daughter. Now this I would say is in line with Dukat's character however we spent most of the episode "bonding" with Kira and in the end Dukat does the right thing and comes off as an angel, so this portrayal I don't care for. • Parturition VOY Season 2, Episode 7
    Jul 5 2025

Star Trek: Voyager Season 2 Episode 7 "Parturition" explained. Join me as I review and recap the episode where Neelix and Tom fight over Neelix being rightfully jealous over Tom's flirting with Kes, and he finally admits he is in fact in love with her. But the two of them are sent on shuttle craft mission and of course the shuttle crashes because this is Star Trek which gives the two of them time to bond over taking care of an alien baby. • Hippocratic Oath DS9 Season 4, Episode 3
    Jul 3 2025

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Season 4 Episode 3 "Hippocratic Oath" explained. Join me as I review and recap the episode where Bashir and O'Brien are face with a powerful moral dilemma. When they taken prisoner by the Jem'hadar, but soon find they are attempting to defect from the Dominion and they're leader is apparently free of the drug katracel white and he wants Bashir to find a way to free the rest of the Jem'hadar in his group. Bashir starts to notice that the leader is more moral and free thinking than any Jem'hadar he's seen before and so comes invested in finding this cure. However O'Brien is more concerned about their safety as the leader set a deadline on which they're be killed if Bashir doesn't find a cure by then. O'Brien then attempts to escape and defies Bahir's orders and goes as far to destroy Bashir's research in order to rescue him. And I absolutely love this episode, thought it was an amazing conflict between two friends even if I thought O'Brien got off lightly. Jun 28 2025

Star Trek: Voyager Season 2 Episode 6 "Twisted" explained. Join me as I review and recap the episode where the crew wonder around Voyager looking for certain rooms and can't seem to find them. You would think that Neelix slipped some drugs into his cake. But it just turns out that it's yet again some anomaly BS and the solution was just for them to sit around and do nothing. *yawn* Come see my first reaction as I breakdown the episode and attempt to give my in depth analysis

  • The Way of the Warrior DS9 Season 4, Episode 1
    Jun 26 2025

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Season 4 Episode 1 "The Way of the Warrior" explained. Join me as I review and recap the episode where Worf joins the crew and DS9 must face off against the Klingons for some reason. And that reason is: that the studio demanded it in a ploy in order to boost ratings, while not understanding that in the era of TNG Klingons work much better as an uneasy ally and not an enemy. The writers didn't like and weren't happy with these marching orders but they did the best they could with it by folding it into their existing Dominion arc. So the episode ends up being pretty good, but it's still way overrated and this whole Klingon conflict should have been a one off, they should have stopped here. And there's no need to repeat Worf's discommendation storyline, it's just repetitive. Come see my first reaction as I breakdown the episode and attempt to give my in depth analysis

  • Non Sequitur VOY Season 2, Episode 5
    Jun 24 2025

Star Trek: Voyager Season 2 Episode 5 "Non Sequitur" explained. Join me as I review and recap the episode where Harry Kim wakes up in another timeline where he never went to Voyager and is at home with his loving girl friend who is now his fiancée. However his happiness comes out the expense of two people including Tom Paris whose life has fallen apart without Harry. So it makes total sense to me that Kim wouldn't be willing to live at the expense others so he risks his life to restore the timeline.
